I love Richard Thompson...Mez, you should check out the pic of him on my myspazz page. Recently purchased lots of Opeth. And a new car stereo for my new old car, aka The Wombat. Now I need a nice pair of speakers. -------------------- What the fuck is wrong with drinking tea?

Well, this was supposed to be the record that would make Mutantes huge worldwide, but never got released, for whatever reason. It was recorded in France, in 1970, and the production is top notch, even by today's standards. It's almost entirely sung in English (plus one song in Portuguese and one in French), which sounds a little weird to me, since I got used to listen to their music in Portuguese. It works though, they were a great band. Songs, most previously released in Portuguese, have kind of a psychedelic feel, not unlike 67-70 era Beatles. Highly recommended. -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." More vinyls...1349 - Liberation Cannibal Corpse - Kill Carpathian Forest - Skiend Hans Lik Finntroll - Visor Om Slutet Gorgoroth - Pentagram Soundgarden - Ultra Mega Ok Venom - At War With Satan Venom - Black Metal I'm particularly pleased with the venom ones, they've just been reissued in gatefold sleeve and 180gm pristine vinyl. Earmark deserve credit for reissuing old classic metal albums on excellent quality vinyl. -------------------- Hail Santa...
