Yeah, reissuing the Soundhouse tapes would be great! I've never owned a copy of that. It would have been cool to reissue the Live+1 EP and Maiden Japan as well, but I already have them, so not a big deal for me... I'm committed to getting all of the 7-inch reissues as they come out. They are pretty much awesome. My haul from the Sunday record show, plus a couple of CDs. PB&J for lunch the next couple weeks, I think. CD... - Can: Rite Time - Scott Walker + Sunn O))) - Soused Vinyl... - Association P.C.: Erna Morena - Blue Öyster Cult - Extraterrestrial Live [2xLP] - Candlemass: Dactylis Glomerata - Billy Cobham: Spectrum - Captain Beyond: s/t album [Canadian version - without the 3D art] - The Firm: s/t album - Free: Heartbreaker - The Frost: Rock 'N' Roll Music - Hawklords: 25 Years On [LP] - Hawklords: 25 Years [12-inch EP, grey vinyl] - The Honeydrippers: Volume One - Iron Maiden: Twilight Zone/Wrathchild [7-inch reissue] - Iron Maiden: Run To The Hills [7-inch reissue] - Iron Maiden: The Number Of The Beast [7-inch reissue] - Jade Warrior: The Way Of The Sun - Judas Priest: Hell Bent For Leather - KTL: s/t album [2xLP] - May Blitz: s/t first album [2nd copy of this - looked too clean to pass up] - Leonard Nimoy: The Way I Feel - Onslaught: Power From Hell [bootleg colored vinyl] - Sanctuary: The Year The Sun Died [LP came with the deluxe version of the CD - badass!] - Saxon: Crusaders - William Shatner: The Transformed Man - Tomita: The Planets - Tool: Opiate EP - Tool: Undertow [2xLP] - Frank Zappa & The Mothers: Over-Nite Sensation -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

Funny name. Judging by song titles (Gethsemane, Sinai) and cover art, it's rooted in Judeo-Christian (and by the last song, perhaps Islamic too) tradition. What does it have to do with Advaita puzzles me. Yes, I'm puzzled (pun intended) ... ah well, the first song lyrics explain it. kind of. now I need to listen to this one at least, curious what's their take sounds like. but the title of this track is still making no sense, I couldn't find this word (Addis) in any language related to the themes of this album (Greek, Latin, Sanskrit). The closest Sanskrit words are aaditas (in the beginning), aadish (intention, etc.), adhas (down, beneath, under), but no addis. -------------------- Casper, your friendly ghost

Yeah, the Can reissues have been killing me. I should probably stop, but I'm so far along already, I might as well see it through to the end. Lee, if you can handle how pretentious Magma is and a heavy dose of chanting, then there's some pretty awesome music happening. My favorite album is probably Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh or Köhntarkösz. They've released some great live stuff too. I'm a fan for sure, but I totally understand why some folks have a hard time getting into them. -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

And you didn't run away from your pc yet?If I wasn't already familiar with their music, I wouldn't have endured their Roadburn set either, too much weirdness... magma roadburn -------------------- "Appearing like Ra"

You're of course right! I tried, but now I'm heading to NYC in a few days for a work gig and can't go there and not hit some record shops! Nice cache there man! I love how eclectic your tastes are! All over the map, haha. -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

Been trying to hit record stores in New York on breaks and it's been a bit of a struggle. Not as deep of selections as I would have expected, but I'm probably not hitting all the right shops. The exception here being Heaven Street Records in Brooklyn, which was small, but awesome.Found these LPs, at Heaven Street - Loudness: Devil Soldier - Lustmord: The Word Is Law [2xLP] - Voïvod: Dimension Hatröss [!!!] - Watchtower: Energetic Disassembly [!!!] My old copy of Dimension Hatröss had a nasty gash on side two, so been looking to replace it for about a decade.... Was nice to buy it right off the shelf! Can't believe I found a copy of Energetic Disassembly either, an original/early press too! -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop
