I just robbed the local used CD store with a $3.99 mint copy of Killing Joke - Millenium Killer album, killer price.Other new stuff: Man or Astro-man - Experiment Zero Devo goes surfing and spying with the B52's and Dead Kennedys. AWESOME! Steve Walsh - Glossalalia Former/ current(?) Kansas vocalist with some surprising musical tricks up his sleeve. Great stuff. Art Zoyd - Le Mariage du Ciel et de L'enfer Holy fuck, Batman - we have some quality vintage avant-weirdness here. I actually got a song from this off the radio in 1984, and searched for its identity until just two months ago. The longest such quest of my life ends with a BIG bang. I actually may have to post some of this on the diversionary thread.

I've watched the DVD 4-5 times by now, and it's great! Live Intrusion looked better (probably because it was shot with film stock, as opposed to digital) but the sound is just fucking awesome. Loud motherfucker, i tell ya. The "Fans Rule" section is embarrassing to watch. It's basically some candid interviews with Slayer fans outside of venues and crap like that, and some of these guys are just morons. "Yah i sacrificed a dog once in the name of Slayer", or "I wouldnt mind have Tom rape me", etc etc etc. On the plus side, there's the video for Bloodline included on the disc as well. Very cool since it hasnt been played too often.

Come on Skulhead, you know no one here takes you seriously. Slayer is a joke and everyone knows it.

Just got Kreator - Live Kreation: Revisioned Glory DVD. Fucking Amazing. The concert footage was shot both in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Korea, except the extra footage from the Full Force festival in Germany (only two songs). The rest of the footage was taken all over the world. You get to see people from other bands (Sodom, Arch Enemy, Moonspell, Snake from Voivod, etc etc etc), plus you even see a guy i know from Beaupré (the first guy you see with the Kreator tattoo on his chest in the "fans all over the world" portion... "El Pucké".. cant remember his real name though). As far as sound, it's a little quiet in stereo mode, but it's loud enough in 5.1. I liked how they filmed it, too. It has a better feel than the Slayer one, and it's a much better dvd, overall. Another thing that was cool was adding ALL their official video clips on it. Buy it. I did.

Got these the other day:Arch Enemy - Anthems Of Rebellion Not bad. Not as good as Wages Of Sin, but I have a feeling this one will grow on me. The riffs are a bit more simple this time and Angela's voice...OMFG! She sounds like Satan's fucking sister! Kataklysm - Epic:The Poetry Of War Oh me likey very much. Saw them on Saturday. Bought the CD and a wicked long sleeve shirt. Hung out with Stephane (bass) before the show having some drinks and some laughs, chatting about the tour, Wacken, the new album, etc. Very cool guy. Awesome band. Maurzio (vox) said it doesn't matter to them if the played for 30,000 (like they did at Wacken) or 30 (like the did here ), they treat each show the same and give it 100% every time. Fuck did they ever! Go see them live, you will not be disappointed.
