No, just the regular Sensory release. I did pre-order the special edition of O.S.I., however!!! Also received the new Eclipsed Magazine ((which I can't read, because it's written in German), but it has a great sampler cd with Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Arena, Karmakanic, We, The Gathering, RPWL, A.C.T., Peter Wahle's Amigo News, & Martigan. This was mainly to add to my ever growing Porcupine Tree collection, but the sampler should bring many spins on the player!!!

My man MEZ typed: Porcupine Tree- In Abstentia, now I know what Schroeder has been screaming about for the last two years, now I got two copies!!!and I see AngelRat was cool enough to pick it up along with Metanoia!!! This band will grow on you like flesh eatting bacteria...I feel as though I cannot escape from being obsessed with collecting PT. I just received the promo cd sigle of Blackest Eyes. Steve Wilson will also be releasing a metal project of material that was deemed too heavy by the other members of the band. He tends to write WAT TO MUCH for every album and has lots of tunes still waiting to find the light of day. ENJOY BTW AngelRat where did you get Masters Of Reality - Flak 'n Flight, and how is it? I've been a fan since day one but it seems they stillcan't capture the magic of the first 2 releases. I'll have to look into this one.

Post # 500!!! quote: Originally posted by schroeder: I'm waiting on a whole bunch of rare OVERKILL cds that contain lots of extra tracks. I've never heard of these before but won them on Ebay a few days ago!!!
...REVIEW!!! quote: Originally posted by farside: No new metal lately, but I did buy every Motorhead album up too and including 1916
Is your "No Remorse" the double CD version? It's the (almost) only thing lacking in my Motörhead collection. And there are some really great albums after 1916: Overnight Sensation, Everything Louder, We Are Motörhead... As is the case with AC/DC, every Motörhead album is a good album!

It's released on the Dutch Mascot label and there are 2 QOTSA members playing on it, so it's available here in any record shop. I don't know who's distributing it in the USA (if it ever was released over there). Maybe their website has some info? About the album: it sure has it's moments, but overall I think it's a bit boring. Musicianship's more than OK, of course, but somehow the album can't hold my attention. Maybe it's the production (loud vocals, soft guitar), maybe they were too stoned (songs go on for much too long with too little happening) or maybe I wasn't in the right mood. I prefer the previous live album 'Reality Show' which has much more atmosphere, energy, intensity and MAGIC. The first album was cool, I don't have the second one. The 2 studio albums after that were great too. Porcupine Tree: I discovered them when 'The Sky Moves Sideways' came out. I heard that one in a record store specialized in all sorts of obscure stuff. It was just playing when I walked in looking for some Hawkwind records. I stood nailed to the ground for a while. No Hawkwind that day, but I was very happy with my vinyl version of '...Sky...', Bought the cd later on; it had a extra track and I didn't want to wear out my vinyl. 'In Absentia' is their best album for years. Not that they ever made anything bad.

Major haulage this week from some buddies n the Iron Maiden BB who I trade file with via Streamload:Running Wild - Gates To Purgatory Running Wild - Branded And Exiled Running Wild - Pile Of Skulls Accept - Restless And Wild Children Of Bodom - Hate Crew Deathroll Stormwitch - Tales Of Terror Stormwitch - Stronger Than Heaven Stormwitch - Dance With The Witches Borknagar - Empiricism Nuclear Assault - Game Over/The Plague Helloween - Better Than Raw Plus a few tracks from Old Man's Child, Toranaga, Elvenking, Darkthrone, Alas, Sorskogen and Myrkskog. I had some of the stuff on vinyl already, but now I can crank the CDs up in the car. The Children Of Bodom album is kicking my ass right now. Much better than Follow The Reaper. The Helloween, Stormwitch and Running Wild's Pile Of Skulls are geettting lots of play too. I lost intrest in RW after the Under Jolly Roger album, but POS blew my socks off, so I'm gonna get Blazon Stone and Death Or Glory next. They're headlining at Wacken this year. Fuck, I wish I could go.
