I never got into NILE but the Karl Sanders thing seemed more up my musical alley.[/qb][/QUOTE]

Hey Shroeder, Is Karl's music like the intros between the songs from Nile?

I'm not stupid, I know a deal when I see one!!!

Wait til the new Porcupine Tree DEADWING comes out.... it's going to be incredible.... don't wait 2 years to buy it though!!!

Haha, I won't wait 2 years this time, maybe 2 months though

Funny about Columbia House, they called me too but it was because they wanted me to cancel my subscription and create a new one all over, and I had to pay the S/H, how the hell did you get everything free!?!? You have been a member alot longer I bet...I was only at 2 years, the limit, you know...

Yeah, thanks for the tip. I dlded the 2 tracks available, and it's exactly what I was expecting. Great stuff, it's already on my wishlist.

Angel Rat, how'd you get The Mars Volta before next Tuesday's release date? Did a European version or limited special edition get released already? And most importantly, how is it?

Nice to see PORCUPINE TREE being purchased!!! RECORDINGS for $10.00!!!! One hell of a deal considering what it goes for on Ebay. All the remastered extended versions are worth buying.

It's been available here in the Netherlands for a week now.

And how it is? MINEDBLOWING! The debut album was good, but this is better by far. Hearing is believing.

You Euorpean music lovers get EVERYTHING first. I'll be picking it up Tuesday when it gets released here in the states.

PT's RECORDINGS is an incredible collection of tunes, and Even Less is so much better in the full version.

Enslaved-Isa

Motley Crue-Red,White,and Crue

The Crue 'tis good, has some rare shit on there that I didn't have (Too Young To Fall In Love Remix) and as for the Enslaved-I still haven't played it yet!

Oh yeah, the new Priest is out today,too.......well,it'll have to wait, the rent's due today as well.

The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute

GREAT album, will agree with AngelRat on that.
As for it being better than De-Loused... I'll have to listen to it again. I'm still heavily hooked on De-Loused and it'll be hard to beat it.

Judas Priest - Angel Of Retribution (CD+DVD)
After all negative comments I've read I think it's not that bad. Okay, it's not 'Painkiller', but there are still some very interesting songs on this album.

Yesterday I pickjed up Judas Priest - Angel Of Retribution the one with the DVD in it. What a beautiful booklet! The glossy cover is awesome. I'm gonna need a slipcase to protect it. The album kicks ass. Revolution is kinda so-so, and Wheels Of Fire is a tad lame, but the rest is fuckin excellent.

Also bought the Iron Maiden DVD "The Early Years". Looking forward to watching it.

Judas Priest - AOR with dvd!!! I love it. All of it. You could take each song and put it on an oldar JP album and it would fit. They cover styles from their entire carreer. From classic old JP to catchy anthem tunes to cheesy JP.

The Mars Volta - Fancis the Mute - this one's gonna take a few spins before it sinks in, just like the first one.

Hey Mezcal. Try Amazon.com for some classics. So far I got Sinister,Hypocrisy, and Sacred Reich. The release dates are usually included in the discriptions.

THAT'S MY BOY!!!!

The End gives me so many reasons NOT to waste my time going to a local shop to TRY and find a cd. Great prices and damn fast delivery... if only they delivered food, I might not have to leave the house at all.

Oh yea, I guess I still have to work to support my habit.

New Tori Amos "the beekeeper" is excellent for any of you that like that sort of thing....then again I might be the only one here into Tori's music.
