Oldies week, brand new copies for a ridiculously low price!

DEEP PURPLE - Fireball (25-year remaster), for 8 local bucks. Less than US$3!

WHITESNAKE - Live... In the heart of the city, Slide it in also for a cheap price.

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Big haul from another Columbia House sale:
Led Zep: How The West Was Won (3cd set)

Ozzy: Live At Budokan

Stone Temple Pilots: Thank You

Deep Purple: Made In Japan (2cd remastered)

Spocks Beard: V

Ministry: Houses Of The Mole

and from Burning Shed
NO MAN: Speak (remastered) still don't like Tim Bowness' vocals but Steve Wilson from Porcupine Tree plays some cool shit

Vidna Obmana - Legacy

Saxon - Lionheart

Way downunder here in New Zealand the metal scene is very marginalised these days. But one band one particular band has made a big impression as of late, and keeping their music as heavy and uncompromising as ever.

8 FOOT SATIVA - check their website for some soundz HERE

Recent album is 'Season for Assault', their follow up to the debut release 'Hate Made Me'.

Check em out, they are good fun heavy as fuck metal mayhem.

Hey, schroeder, how's the new Helmet?

Recent purchases:

ICED EARTH - Tribute to the Gods;
RAMONES - Acid eaters;
CHILDREN OF BODOM - Hate Crew Deathroll;
MEGADETH - The System Has Failed;
IMHO, a totally sub-par album, just a bit better than TWNAH, unfortunately. God knows how I wanted it to be good.
RATOS DE PORÃO - Ao Vivo no CBGB's;

CÓLERA - Pela Paz em Todo Mundo;
MACHINE HEAD - Hellalive;
NAPALM DEATH - Enemy Of the Music Business;
Bye bye, CDR...
TERRORIZER - World Downfall;
Bye bye, CDR...
DARKTHRONE - Soulside Journey;

MOTÖRHEAD - Inferno.

Waiting for me at work today (having my goodies delivered to work since I'm moving next week):

RIVERSIDE - Out of Myself (great fuckin album, heavy-psychedelic-metal-prog )

CHRIS CAFFERY - Face (cool 2cd solo by the Savatage guy, and you can tell he's from Savatage. If you like Savatage you'll like this, although it is a bit more diverse)

SAXON - The Saxon Chronicles DVD (I've postponed buying this one for far too long and finally bought it. It will probably be the last thing I watch on my system at this house before I move out next Tuesday)

That sounds like good news, schroeder!

Yes, Luna, it is good news that I'm moving. The house gets sold on Oct 22 and I'll be temporarily living at my brother's beach house where nobody is during the next few months, until my house is completed, which will hopefully be the end of 2004 or early 2005. I just ordered a nice 7.1 surround sound receiver and speakers for the new house!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Helmet "Size Matters" came out last Tuesday.

I had to put the majority of my 5600 cd in storage until the house is ready
