Not really a CD, but good enough:

Napalm Death - Punishment in Capitals DVD

Anything that starts with "Lucid Fairytale" and goes on from there gets my vote. It doesn't have "Rise Above", but hey, you can't get everything you want...

Megadeth - Cryptic Writings and Rust In Peace Re-issues.
I didn't know CW was this good. I never owned anything after Countdown to Extinction. The new Rust In Peace sounds great just like everybody here said.

Sister Double Hapiness - S/T, Heart and Mind, Uncut
Good stuff from Gary Floyd

Also got some classical guitar stuff that I don't remember the names of.

Sweet fuckin' haulage yesterday...

Rush - Caress Of Steel (remaster)

Electro Quarterstaff - Swayze local tech/thrash/instrumental band. It's their first 3 song thing they did themselves. Sounds great. They even do a cover of Dr Wiley's theme from the Megaman games! http://www.electroquarterstaff.com/

Venom - Black Metal (remaster)

Vehemence - God Was Created

Cryptopsy - Blasphemy Made Flesh

Iced Earth - Horror Show time to put the old CDR to rest

Turisas - Battle Metal
Some sort of pagan folkmetal. Sounds nice.
Pentagram - Show 'Em How
On vinyl. Bobby's voice sounds sicker than ever. The new line-up rules.
Jethro Tull - Bursting Out
Also on vinyl. Double live set.

Enslaved - Monumension (Limited Edition, no less! Only 8,000 copies, hee hee).

This is actually far, far better than Below the Lights (except for the latter's spiffy title track). Yeah, you read that right. Get this. Now.

Used:
SEX PISTOLS - Nevermind the bollocks...
(you know, it's a classic, so why not having it for cheap!)

And some DVDs:
Mel Brooks' SPACEBALLS ("May the Schwartz be with youuuuu!")

Jim Jarmusch's MYSTERY TRAIN (haven't seen it yet)

Tarantino's KILL BILL VOL. 1 (haha, I like the part when she cuts a guy in half! A masterpiece of excess)

More CDs, with money found behind the sofa!

Mithras - Ever Advancing.....Legions
Suffocation - Souls to Deny
Vile - Depopulate

Also ordered Spawn of Possession - Cabinet from their website. The new Suffocation isn't a shred on their older work, natch, but it still fucking rips. Vile are as brutal as fuck, and Mithras continue to astound me, even though this album isn't nearly as trippy. The track "Sloping Altars" is a true classic, IMO.

Monumension left me on a bad impression because of the last track (the pagan emo-folk thingy), IMO it ruins the album...
I gave it another try (minus last track!), and yeah it's excellent - as good as Below the Lights

REV. HORTON HEAT - Revival

Brand new opus from the Rev. I didn't even know it was out, but I got it anyway. Satisfaction guaranteed, especially for ppl who liked their more straightforward approach of "Spend a Night in the Box".

--------------------

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
