Thanks for the great info on the Probot vinyl. I did some research before hunting down what I could find last night and did see the 1/2 black 1/2 red 7 inch was mega rare. That would be cool to find at the right price. I was able to get the 7 inch in green, in red, and red/black mixed. It's good to know there's the same amount of black as red on the full length album, even though the red sells for more from the dealers that have both.I also found a red vinyl of Katorz that I purchased. I have quickly become a good buyer on Discogs... great site!!!! Thanks a 1,000,000 for that collectors tip!!! This is what I do when I get bored... spend $$$ on music. -------------------- yawn

I remember in the hayday of vinyl if you said you bought "a 45" it was synonymous with a 7 inch record. Not anymore. WTF?
That is weird man. I have some old punk 7-inch's that play at 33rpm, but that was to accomodate lots of songs on the little record, which was awesome for that kind of DIY stuff. If only one 5 minute track on each side, there is no logic I can think of for 33rpm single. Seems like a dumb idea, haha. Ok, gonna just pile this onto my post, so as not follow myself with another addition to this thread of guilty pleasure. These magically fell into my car on the way home from work today... MOTORHEAD - Rock 'N' Roll [2001 remaster w/bonus tracks] - 1916 Until now, I never bought anything past Orgasmatron (except The World Is Yours), so looking forward to spending some time with these. Have a friend at work who came late to Motorhead and has been buying all their albums in chronological order, 1 by 1, listening to each one a bunch before movning to the next. Anyway, he's kind of inspired me to take it a little further with Motorhead, even after a lifetime of bowing to the godly 1977-1984 eras of this band. -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

XD, I have a few older 7" records that needed the 33 1/3 speed so there was room for what they wanted on the vinyl, but, yeah, this just makes no sense. It's like they totally forgot there was even a 45 rpm speed. Maybe it's something regarding the mastering of the vinyl these days. HEX, you know the answers to everything, what's going on with this?My Motorhead collection goes from Orgasmatron to Kiss of Death (highly recommend) and The World is Yours (also excellent) and The World is Ours (live cd/blu ray). I skipped everything in between also. I envy your friend for having the will power to buy one cd at a time, listen to it, absorb it, and then move on to the next one, repeat & continue. You know me, I just buy the entire fucking catalog when I think I'll like a band!!! Today's mail: VOIVOD - Katorz (red vinyl - so fuckin' beautiful) VOIVOD - VOIVOD japanese cd there is no known cure for this Voivod disease that I have contracted. -------------------- yawn
