VOIVOD - Angel Rat (long box!!!!) this will remain sealed since I already have a copy from when it first was released. I couldn't pass up the long box offer that THE END records was selling.

I just completed my Deeds of Flesh collection while attending The Gathering of the Sick 2005. I also found some rare goodies. I found a copy of "Sadochismo" by Cock and Ball Torture the Ablated Records edition and the TXDM edition of Incidious Decrepency's Debut album "A decadent Orgy of Atrocious Suffering". I'm happy for the next couple of months!

ah I bought it last week, but I couldn't play it until now! (a problem with my cd player)

First impression is good; overall it's more accessible than Condemned, like the recent tunes we heard.
Well, there are a few you already know: Wigstand, Blueprint Soul, Sour Times, Hibernation.
I think I prefer Scott's voice now, than on Condemned... yeah, much more accessible.
Nice drums, excellent job on the sound and effects.
I don't think this album will make it to my 'top 10 of 2005', but I have to play it a few more times...

Steve Walsh - Shadowman (always been a Kansas fan and always liked what walsh has done)

CAVE IN - Perfect Pitch Black (playing this now, and fuck... it is devastingly brutal as hell. I was expecting something along the lines of Antenna, kinda pop progressive with an edge... but this is more along the lines of Until Your Heart Stops... heavy as shit, mixes in their older style with their newer style perfectly. The best of both worlds. Highly recommend to anyone who reads this post... get it now)

KREATOR - Live Kreation Revisioned Glory

--------------------

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." True. The first two are superb. In fact, I'm gonna listen to them right away! I'm tired of the latest Oasis - after 20 + listening, of course.

Well it took me some time to find some cheap copies of
my missing Beck albums (Midnite, Sea Change, Mutations)
and it took me some time to find this old message of you, Mez,
but it was worth it. Thank you for your encouragement.

Midnite Vultures isn't always great, but it has very good moments.
Mutations is good to hear in the background and while driving.
And Sea Change is simply a fantastic album.

Sometimes it's good to listen to Mez. My opinion about the
new Pungent Stench albums doesn't change, though.

Exodus - Shovel Headed Kill Machine
Ramesses - The Tomb
Hypocrisy - Virus [CD + DVD]
Atheist - Elements [remastered + bonus tracks, Live Radio Broadcast 92]
Gojira - From Mars to Sirius - http://www.gojira-music.com - definately Voivod-influenced...
Cave In - Perfect Pitch Black - thanks David for the 'heads up! I thought the style change was permanent, I didn't expect them to play heavy stuff again...
I don't like everything in this one though, but tunes like 'Ataraxia'... oh my...!

Psyopus - Ideas of Reference
Atrox - Terrestrials

Agressor - Medieval Rites
Nihil - Pandora's Box
Oddmongers - The new Prometheus - a band from Grenoble, France; their only album I think, 1997. I heard only one song so far, and found a huge Voivod influence...
S.U.P. - Room Seven
S.U.P. - Chronophobia
Groinchurn - SixTimesNine
Cerebral Turbulency - Forces Closing Down
