I must say I specially love AC/DC boxes, they're the best! I'm drooling at the mere thought of that new "Backtracks" box, which is also a guitar amp. Another local store is going out of buisness so there were deals a plenty and I bought myself a few "gifts"... tis the season: Puscifer - V is for Vagina (I never really wanted this disc because i thought the stupid sexual lyrics are... well, stupid; but, Maynard singing and only $2.50 I had to buy it)Chickenfoot - Chickenfoot (for $5... why not?) Trouble - Simple mind Condition (now I won't feel bad for having a cdr copy for the last couple years) Trouble - Unplugged (i've had the original release of this for years but this version has a few more songs on it, so I had to get it) ***side note: Trouble is just not the same anymore with Eric gone from behind the mic. the new guy who is original the singer from Warrior Soul just doesn't do it for me; thus, I couldn't bring myself to buy the Live In L.A. cd Holocaust - Live from the Raw Loud 'n' Live Tour DVD (marked $0.99 and 30% off that making it only 69 cents!!!! like I'm going to pass that up) -------------------- yawn

I had points from my Fnac credit card, so I used them to order some stuff (which will arrive later this week):METALLICA - Orgullo, Pasión Y Gloria Let's see, their home videos are almost always cool. THE BEATLES - Magical Mystery Tour Remaster! -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Made my last trip to the local record store before it closes it's doors for good at the end of the month. 40% off all new cds so I picked up: Living Colour - The Chair In The Doorway (thanks for the recommendations from VVF members)Crack The Sky - Safety In Numbers (21st century redux) Crack The Sky - The Best Of The Rest and then some Trouble - Live In Los Angeles (not sure if I'm going to like Kory's vocales with this band but figured I have everything else by Trouble, so I should have this) The Mars Volta - Octahedron (i have to be in the right mood to listen to this band, and it doesn't happen often, but figured I'd take the chance since the price was right) 60% off used cds: Vanderhoof - A Blur In Time (main writer from Metal Church, a bit more commercial than MC but theres some good stuff between the cheese, besides I only paid about $1.60) -------------------- yawn

Megadeth - EndgameBest one for me since Peace Sells, definatly. But I could do without that fucking awful ballad. jesus wept! Devin Townsend - Addiction Loved Ki, but this sounds like Synchestra with less melody. But of course Devin albums need multiple spins to get into them! Porcupine Tree - The Incident Actually I got two copies as one is for my Dad's 60th next week. Not heard it yet - I need some time and space to devote to it properly. Not repeating the mistake I made with 'Fear of a Blank Planet' by doing something else while listening to it for the first time! I bloody hated it for some reason, cant think why as its like Dream Theatre without the cheese/shitbits. -------------------- Der der der-der DER! Der der der-der DER! DER!

You summed up the same way I feel about the Beatles. I have most of their catalog on cd before they remastered them and also the Love disc in 5.1 which is probably one of the best surround mixes ever.Recently received: Thrice - Beggars (clear vinyl, red, vinyl, white vinyl, mustard vinyl) which brings my collection of colored wax for this album to 6 different versions. Thrice "under a killing moon"/Thursday "for the workforce, drowning" split 7 inch on clear vinyl -------------------- yawn
