The songs are so well crafted, . For some frigging reason I totally missed their last tour. It actually came within a 100 miles of my city...which is a miracle really.
I actually had the album on mp3 since shortly after its original release, but for some strange reason I never listened to it as much as it deserved (maybe it has something to do with me, being the old-fashioned guy that I am, preferring to have the original CD). But now it seems to be struck on my CD player! I tend to agree with you, ISA is a really great record that grabs the listener's attention from start to the majestic finish with "Neogenesis". A really important album indeed. -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Got some gifts from myself for Xmas:CANNIBAL CORPSE - Bloodthirst I waited for ages for this one to be released here. It never was (dunno why), so I grabbed the import. Unleashing the Bloodthirsty alone is worth the money. VADER - And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw (DVD) Vader is a great DM band, one of my personal favourites, great to see a well recorded/filmed concert of theirs. Must have for any Death Metal fan! -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." AC/DC. The album in question is "Ballbreaker", the author is Mark Prindle. I don't agree with that review, but I loved the line anyway, super funny, plus it can be applied to a whole lotta bands! -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
