LOL! Don't break the Oats!?! Nice finds there nuclear infusion! Schroeder, how the hell does someone like you ever manage to find anything in those music clubs? I've considered it before but every time I get those catalogs I either already have or I don't want it and I know I don't have nearly as many cds as you! I usually scour the local record stores (and believe me, there are a lot in Seattle). Actually, it's sort of a hobby too... the looking part that is. I sometimes enjoy digging through stacks of records and cds rather that ordering something online (even though the ladder is easier). Recent local finds: -Anacrusis: Manic Impressions (I like this! Going back to nab Screams & Whispers tonight!) -Electric Wizard: Let Us Prey (already had a copy but decided to buy the original) -Slayer: Decade Of Aggression (this seems to be gettin' hard to find) -Acid King/Altamont: Split cd -Today Is The Day: In The Eyes Of God (loving the Mastodon stuff! Had to check out the origins! Good, but I like Mastodon better) -Flying Saucer Attack: Further -Khanate: s/t (again, had a copy, bought the orig.) -Pentagram: Sub-Basement BTW - Looking at the liner notes of my recently purchased Orange Goblin cd, "The Big Black", I noticed a certain Vodhead's name cited for additional vocals! Any guesses... ahem... scuse me.

YEAH!This time it's: -Fields (old prog band, released only one album in the early 70s, only played it once, sounds ok) -Motorpsycho - Serpentine EP (some nice new songs, but the new full-length will be better) and: -ARCTURUS - THE SHAM MIRRORS This is the greatest record I've heard since a long time. I could go on about this for a long time, but it's better to check it out yourselves! Truly original Symphonic Prog/Black/Avant-Garde-Metal!

Fuck yeah! I absolutely love that CD! I found 2 of their older ones yesterday, but had to put them on hold untl NEXT payday. I can't recall the names, but it's the same CD, just different versions/ mixes/ interpretations of the songs. One is heavy and the other more ambient. Both are supposed to be awesome. The reason I have to wait until next payday? My Razor re-issues came in! I'm going to pick them at HMV on Monday morning. Can't wait. Plus I'm hoping they have the new Nile and In Flames CDs. They've sold out of them EVERYWHERE! I also got Amorphis - Tuonela used yesterday. Awesome CD. Great band. I gave Balls To Picasso a listen. I think it needs a few more spins. Not what I expected at all. It's okay, but it didn't "grab my ears" so to speak. Actually, I think I'll put it on now.
