(a lightweight cd buyer reporting...)Tangerine Dream - Ricochet Tangerine Dream - Exit Slowly building up a TD classics collection...the music nerd in me tells me to get a proper stereo set with a proper vinyl turntable, but that'll have to wait until we find a bigger place to live in Also, I'm waiting for the new Believer to arrive - it's titled "Transhuman". Should be good. -------------------- Tomorrow is the fear Tomorrow disappears Tomorrow is the fear We are connected...

EOLB - eklectricGhost - Opus Eponymous Hell, who needs anything more than these two discs? Thanks consumer for giving me your copy of Opus Eponymous. Their live sound is crushing compared to the disc. What is it about this? It has a creepy, yet "light" vibe to it and I fuckin' love it. I don't know about their stage get up, but it certainly added that extra touch of weirdness to the music which boggles my mind on some levels. It all sounds so simple, and yet why do I have this sense that I'm slowly being transformed by something Devilish and Evil? -------------------- What the fuck is wrong with drinking tea?

Death Knell is my current fave...cannot stop wanting to hear it. By the way...Eklectric rules! I'm loving how it morphs from one tune to another. Good job h and co. I love the artwork too. When's that tour of yours happening? Not that I'm financially able to get overseas, but one never knows. Why. Are. We. Where. We. Are? Fuckin' love that tune. -------------------- What the fuck is wrong with drinking tea?

That's great that they released those Ray Gillen session as a bonus. I have the bootlegs and they are pretty cool. Probably should go back and give these albums another pass. Never could get into Tony Martin's voice... always struck me as bland or something.Came into a few CDs lately, as follows. - Clutch: Blast Tyrant [2011 expanded reissue - love Basket Of Eggs] - Dug Dug's: Dug Dug's [great first album on mini-LP.. unexpected find in a local shop] - Judas Priest: Stained Class [2001 remaster] - Motorhead: The World Is Yours [w/DVD] - Refugee: Refugee / Live In Concert 1974 [2 disc reissue w/live show] - Uaral: Sounds Of Pain… [hard to get, so had this baby shipped all the way up to Seattle from Chile] -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

Igor, I got my EOLB shipped free to the states and it also included the killer new T-Shirt I ordered from the band site.X-D, The Basket Of Eggs is worth the price of the Clutch remaster alone. It took me a few listens before I realized they were mostly different version of other Clutch tunes... they just take on a life of their own they way they played them. I agree that most of the Tony Martin material is substandard when compared to the rest of the Sabbath singers, although I love Eternal Idol and Tyr. Too bad Glen Hughes had his addiction problems because I think Seventh Star is brilliant. Ya goota give some props to Martin for helping keep Sabbath alive (for better or worse) as the singer who is always overlooked, but also the singer who had no problem singing anything from any of the albums from the Sabbath catalog... unlike a certain original singer in that band who can't even handle most of the songs he's famous for singing in the band and NEVER touching all the other great Sabbath tunes that were written when he was out of the group. That said... I'd have loved to hear Ronnie James Dio belt out a few of the Born Again tunes, or even a few from 7th Star, Eternal Idol, or Tyr... Dio could have handled any of those tunes with style & power. newest addition to the Schroeder ColleKCtion: Jakszyk, Fripp, & Collins (with Levin & Harrison)- A Scarcity of Miracles a King Crimson ProjeKct (cd/dvd) interesting music here, kinda laid back jazzy vibe, but if King Crimson releases a new official album without Adrian Belew on guitar & Vocals I'll be incredibly pissed... this is just a ProjeKct, which is fine for the usual KC research & development noodling. -------------------- yawn

After comments here, giving those additional Black Sabbath albums another chance... everything from Evening Star to Forbidden. Certainly hearing that there are some overlooked gems among these albums.Got the record store bug yesterday and found myself driving back to work from my lunchbreak with the following CDs sitting the front seat of my car... Do I have a problem? - AC/DC: Powerage [remaster] - Candlemass: Doomed For Live - Reunion 2002 - Cryptopsy: Whisper Supremacy - Hypocrisy: 10 Years Of Chaos And Confusion - Ghost: Opus Eponymous - Lustmord: Dark Places Of The Earth - Neu!: Neu! - Neu!: Neu! 2 - Pentagram: Last Rites - Rush: Rush [remaster] To be honest, I checked out the Ghost album after the glowing reviews from VVF, but didn't think much of it... at first! Somehow I kept getting the urge to revisit it and now I am apparently addicted to this record since I'm spinning it all the time. Not even sure I can describe what it is that keeps drawing me in, but appreciating the effect. Must be Satan! -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop
