Hello Mezzo,

if you don't love the "funk" jams, then this album could be something for you. All tracks are only beats, rhymes and samples, like in "License To Ill" times. The song from the radio "Ch-Check it out" gives you a good foretaste for the rest, but I also have to say that he is one of the best.

I'm a little bit disappointed, 'cause I love the "funk" jams, that go nowhere and beyond. I want to hear them play their instruments, but ok as I don't have any other old school hip hop I welcome this kind of music in my collection.

Cool! That video's classic. Still haven't picked up the new record yet. It's gotta be done.

Just delivered...All vinyl of course

Cannibal Corpse - The Wretched Spawn
Deicide -Scars Of The Crucifix
Demonized - Demonized
Immolation - Dawn Of Possession
My Dying Bride - Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light
Nevermore - Enemies Of Reality
Suffocation - Souls To Deny

All fantastic quality, most on 180gm vinyl. But the real suprise was Immolation - it was pressed on pristine 220gm vinyl and it only cost me £7!

MUZZY LUCTIN - Symptoms Of A Simple Life (paul schluter of Last Crack is in this band)

TROUBLE - Live Dallas 3/12/90
TROUBLE - Live 1983
TROUBLE - 5 song video dvd
I paid over $50.00 with shipping for the above 3 Trouble discs from the bands site, but after listening and watching them, it was worth it.

Borknagar - Epic
Better than their last one. It may take some listens to really get into it, but so far I like it.
Esoteric - Subconscious Dissolution into the Continuum
SSLLOOWW, extremely heavy, hallucinating DOOM! A trip through pure misery.
Limbonic Art (box set with their first 4 cd's)
This cost me only 15 euro's. For about 270 minutes of music. So far I'm more impressed with the quantity than with the quality, but hey!, it's True Norwegian Black Metal, so it must be KVLT!
Jethtro Tull - Heavy Horses
On vinyl. I prefer some of the older albums but this is pretty nice as well.

Chris Poland - Rare Trax (getting psyched for the new Megadeth cd and the 8 remastered & extended discs, of course I ordered all of them)
Chris Poland - Chasing The Sun
Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather remastered (this completes my JP remastered collections and fills up the cool collectors box!!!)
Pete Townshend - Magic Bus Live In Chicago

Van Halen - Diver down.

--------------------

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." At The Gates - The Red In The Sky Is Ours

Megadeth - Peace Sells Re-Issue
Megadeth - So Far So Good - This one is much better than the original, which I never cared for. It's not as "wet" as it was originally and all of the instruments are nice and clear. Much better now, but I still don't like Liar, 502 or Mary Jane.

THE MAILMAN JUST HANDED ME:
Dead Soul Tribe - Dead Soul Tribe

Megadeth - Risk remastered & extended

Megadeth - Cryptic Writting Writtings remastered & extended

MD.45 - The Craving remastered & extended with Mustaine singing instead of Lee Ving. I'm cranking this up right now and it is God-like!!! I loved Ving's vocals on the original release but MegaDave adds a whole new dimension to these tunes with his vocal style

Death & Taxe$ - Paradigms for a New Quarter
in my mailbox, straight from MeanMrMustard - thank you Vince!
For a first album I expected an explosion of riffs grooves and ideas, and yes it is (as the other albums, actually...)
Very professional and well produced too.
It's a blast! (played it at work last night...)

Wayne Kramer - Adult World
Wayne Kramer from the MC5 is a great songwriter, and he's having a second career since the 90's;
Check out the "Sonic Revolution" video, Davis/Kramer/Thompson playing live featuring Lemmy as guest vocalist on "Sister Ann" ...
- "without these guys, there would be no Motorhead, no Damned, ... "

ACCEPT - Metal Blast from the Past DVD

I'm a huge Accept fan, and would reccomend it not only for huge Accept fans, but I have to say the band should have cared a little about the quality of the stuff. Imagine picking up your old VHS tape of Staying a Life and digitalizing it. Cool, especially for ppl (like me) who have never had the chance of actually watching it. But that was exactly what Stephan (Kaufmann, who was in charge of the release) has done, no worries about restoring it or anything. You can see those typical distortions from old video-tapes at the bottom of the image. And that for the ENTIRE show. Plus, audio mastering is terrible, v.g., the sound on the "Slaves to Metal" video is far lower than on the rest of the DVD. But then again, there's no doubt about the superior artistic quality of the stuff herein (damn, there's even the video for "I'm a Rebel"!), just these annoying technical problems. But I'm happy anyway.

RUSH - Feedback

Phew. It took a full month for it to get a proper domestic release here. Last but not least, tho.
