Metal Church - This Present Wasteland i've been putting off buying this one because i wasn't very impressed with A Light In The Dark, but since I have the entire Metal Church catalog, I had to buy it... and DAMN!!!! i'm impressed!!! This is some classic Metal Church material. nothing ground breaking or new, but just damn good tunes, and Ronnie's vocals sound more natural than the last album where it seemed like he was trying to imitate David Wayne, and it didn't work. If you liked old Metal Church, you might wanna check this out. The samples and myspace quality songs do not do justice for how good this really is.Queensryche - Mindcrime at the Moore dvd i've been wanting to get this since it came out and finnaly picked it up. i didn't know they created a theatrical stage performance for the complete mindcrime 1&2story and when the show began i wasn't really sure if i'd like how they did it. i'm not thrilled with all the words super imposed over the live footage (i know the fuckin' words and don't need subtitles in my face), and thought the whole story might come off as kind of cheesey; however, as the story progressed and the characters played out their parts, i really got into it. i'm about 40 minutes into the show because i'm watching while i run on the treadmill(right where sister mary get convinced to stick the gun in her mouth and pull the trigger, filling the larger sceen behind her in blood... damn dramatic and shocking, because you never really know from the album if she dies or not. they added this intense part into the stage show which totally changed the story from what i originally thought). so now i'm totally into the whole concept and stage performance. i was wondering if anyone else here has this dvd, or saw the actual show and what your opinion is about it. -------------------- yawn

MARDUK - Blood Puke Salvation (DVD), Rom 5.12 (latest CD).Hail! Hail! Rock'n'Roll!!! (Chuck Berry documentary, a luxurious 4-DVD box). -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
