A few recently:VOÏVOD - Infini (at last!) THE BEATLES - Rubber Soul (the new remaster) IMMORTAL - All Shall Fall ENSLAVED - Vertebrae AC/DC - Bonfire DVD: MAIDEN - Flight 666 (excellent!) CHUCK BERRY - Hail Hail Rock'n'Roll (4 DVD box) Books: "To Live Is To Die", Cliff Burton's bigraphy by Joel McIver The John Lennon biography by Philip Norman, a must-read "The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarrists", by Joel McIver, an entertaining read, even with Piggy's absence -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." hit a killer sale at a local shop a couple days ago and picked up a few goodies:Picked up these 2 for about $2.10 each: Jeremy Toback - Another True Fiction Liquor Bike - Lowborne / The Beauty Of Falling Apart (2 albums double cd. i knew the drummer of this Baltimore band from previous groups and this one. he also used to work in a record store and would always hook me up with new bands he knew I'd enjoy. Liquor Bike was kinda like Baltimore Grunge/Stoner/Punk rock... 2 great albums) DVDS: Deer Hunter Clockwork Orange -------------------- yawn

The Smithsonian Museum has a special sight and sound exhibit that features all my Dundalk Community College Cable 6 interviews with local bands.I'm not even sure if I have copies any more. Some of the local bands I interviewed were: Apollo Ra Mystic Force Rancid Decay Skeleton Last Picture Show Tension (formerly named Deuce that featured Marty Friedman) and a bunch of others that I can't remember -------------------- yawn

Yeah.. we used to hang a bit with Matt too. In fact, I ran into him at a Pentagram show + the MD Deathfest earlier this year. Told me he plays in a band called Lifetime Shitlist now w/ bassist who used to be in Have Mercy. Sure, I remember Skeleton. Played in a band (Wreckage) that played a few shows with them up in MD. One at the Network club where it was Skeleton, us, and M.O.D. We probably hit a lot of the same shows up in Balt as VA was crap for live shows. Remember seeing stuff at New Loft (tons!), Exodus club, Channel One, Polish Hall in Fells Pt, and a bunch that the Rancid Decay guys set up at some Bel Air Rd hall. Don't recall name of that place. Think probably have even seen some of your cable shows via vid trading back then! Cause was big into Deuce/Tension too. Saw them play many times. Best one with Megadeth + Exciter at Seagull Inn.

King Crimson - THRAK ... superawesome!!!! Heart - Jupiter's Darling (2004)I have a soft spot for the Wilson sisters since I was a kid... the album is such a rocking one actually, with Mike Inez on bass... I bought it expecting nothing and I was blown away. In the past I wished Nancy Wilson was my girlfriend... now I wish she was my mom, so she would never stop loving me, regardless of how much of a ugly-drunk-loser I am :-) -------------------- ...I wish I knew the one who knows..
