I'm waiting for March for the same reasons!!! Although the domestic release for the PT cd in the states has been pushed back til April, but I'll get the limited edition import that will have a 5.1 surround mix with it, not to mention all the other ways the DEADWING album gets released.Today in the mail at work Porcupine Tree - Shallow promo cd single Death Angel - box set FUCK YEAH!!!! The rarities cd is nothing great and I'm glad they never officially released those songs, very sub par for the DA boyz. Can't wait to watch the dvd -------------------- yawn

MEGADETH - Killing Is My Business...To this day, all I had was an old cassete with it recorded. Nice to finally have it on CD, it's a Century Media release with the original cover, but... No These Boots??? DARKTHRONE - Transylvanian Hunger Man, does those 2 on 1 Russian boots suck!!! I have one with TS and Total Death, and it's total crap. TS was finally released here (on a nice digipack version), so I grabbed mine. MOTÖRHEAD - 25 & Alive Boneshaker DVD -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Either way, to make a long story longer, they ended up accepting me, haha. 7 CDs for $20 AND surely to make schroeder happy........ Porcupine Tree: In Absentia (yes it's good ) I might try to join again in a month or so, I think they threw the policy out the window ever since DLing and stuff like that
Same thing happened to me with Columbia House although they CALLED me asked me to join, and I told them I was already a member, they were persistant however and it didn't seem to matter, so I joined again and received 12 cd for free with no s&h charge!!!! I'm not stupid, I know a deal when I see one!!!
Wait til the new Porcupine Tree DEADWING comes out.... it's going to be incredible.... don't wait 2 years to buy it though!!! -------------------- yawn

Beowulf-self titled & Lost my Head (finally released on cd)yeah, you'll have to pick up the first cd release of Killing is my business...because the asshole that wrote These Boots hated the Megadeth version when he heard it and got so pissed off he legally made MegaDave stop using the song.It was pulled from the original cd release so you'll have a hard time finding it with These Boots and it's not on the remaster cd either.

I've been intrugued about it for some time. I know it's not death metal, from what I've been told it's some kind of oriental-inspired music. Is it worthy??? -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." It depends on what you like in your music. I listened to it today for the 1st time. I was intrigued by the songs I downloaded from the relapse site so I picked it up. Imagine a combination of ambient - middle east influence - egyptian - doom all rolled into one. Interesting. -------------------- yawn

Doom... So it actually HAS some metal to it, according to your description. I thought it was purely ambient/middle eastern music. Sounds interesting indeed, thank you sir. -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
