yep, THE WHITE ALBUM was of course one of the first ones I picked up earlier this year, along with RUBBER SOUL, LET IT BE, REVOLVER, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR, SGT PEPPER'S... & ABBEY ROAD. Combined with the 3 I bought yesterday, I finally have a 1/2 way decent Beatles collection to listen to. Amazing that for someone who is a music freak and a collector for about 25 years, to never have any Beatles in their collection. Maybe one day I'll buy an Eric Clapton solo album... nah!!!! I'm satisfied with CREAM's "Strange Brew".

My family always seems to loose something to women. Fisrt my marriage, and now the Chancellor's job I hope she does well for you over there.

KING CRIMSON - THE 21ST CENTURY GUIDE TO KING CRIMSON VOLUME 2 1981-2003: 4 CD BOX SET (not really anything new on it but a damn nice collection of studio and live material)

YES - SONGS FROM TSONGAS 35TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT DVD(i watched a few songs last night, and must say that Anderson's voice is getting a bit raspy, and i like it much better than his crisp clean fairy voice... it adds a little bit of grit to the lyrics. also, I'd like to see a picture of Steve Howe, Charlie Watts, and Keith Richards all together for the scariest bunch of old time rockers... Howe needs to eat some food or something, although he still can play some great passages)

BOO!!!

I think that has to do with him being a vegan (vegetarian? well you know, not eating meat...).

So is Wakeman on there too? I know he got ill the last couple of years and got skinny and ugly.

AH HA, I was unaware he wasn't a carnivore. That explains a lot. Wakeman doesn't look AS bad, but doesn't look that great. I gotta hand it them however, they still can play a long set and rock out. Squire looks damn good compared to the rest of them. I playing the dvd now, so... later

I.E.M. - I.E.M.(Incredibly Expanding Mindfuck) One of Steven Wilson's many side projects. This is a reissue of the debut album, remastered and extended. After playing this new one yesterday when I received it, I'm kicking myself for not playing the original version, that I've had for years, only a couple of times. This is brilliant stuff. It falls in to the Kraut Rock catagory according to those 'in the know'... but to me it's just damn cool music.

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
