The Haunted: One Kill Wonder: 8/10

Voivod: KILLING TECHNOLOGY: The evil spider web... . My cassette was burnt, and I got this off E-Bay because it was the genuine '87 release w/ lyrics. I was surprised that it really was. Much Music / Maldoror.

Got me these beauties today:

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

Enslaved - Below The Lights

I'm totally blown away by the Enslaved. Gonna play the fuck out of it over the next while...

FOTD was one of the few Maiden CDs I didn't have. Don't know why it took me so long to buy it. Love the title track.

Tangento!

That new Kreator live cd is pretty good. Two cd's, about 100 minutes of raw thrash power. Nicely packaged in a digibook containg beautiful cover artwork, lots of pictures and lyrics to all the songs. Sound quality is clear, heavy and live. Rhythm geetars could have been a bit louder to my taste and I think the vox are a bit dominating but in the end it doesn't really bother me. Song choice is excellent, songs from all albums are included. A worthy addition to their catalogue.

The Cosmos will forever be my friend as long as the shining of Venus will lighten my paths. OLD has scorched my interior Universe (Multiverse?) severely.

For a real treat, grab 'Extraterrestrial Live' (1982) and check out
the live versions of Dominance and Submission and Black Blade.

The mighty Blue Oyster Cult at their finest, I tell ya!
