Oh shit, that is the coolest fucking thing ever! Do you know if the 2-disc version DVD includes all of the same footage along with the 5.1 mix? I'd love to get that 15-disc version, but it'd wipe out my music budget for a couple of months. Easily one of my favorite albums of all time!

$120 plus shipping and worth every penny.
The dvd-audio has the 43 minutes of live filmed footage, the 5.1 mixes, the original recording,30th Anniversary mix, and the 2012 alternative takes & mixes.
DGM already sold out of the box set I purchased. There were only 7000 made for worldwide distribution. I'm sure other retailers still have them available.
Whichever package includes a dvd-a disc it should have everything I listed above on it, which would be the way to go if you're on a budget.

A "complete collection" is a kind of oxymoron, innit?

After a visit to a mate of mine who runs a distro:

VULCANO - Bloody Vengeance (with bonus DVD)
HAVOHEJ - Kembatinan Premaster
BOLT THROWER - Realm of Chaos
CARCASS - Reek of Putrefaction
POSSESSED - Beyond The Gates/Eyes of Horror

--------------------

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Another record show today.

CDs...
- Fripp & Eno: The Equatorial Stars
- Krokodil: An Invisible World Revealed
- Pink Fairies: Kings Of Oblivion
- Soundgarden: King Animal [deluxe edition]
- Trouble: Run to The Light

Vinyl...
- Pulsar: Pollin

Picked up the Maiden for a friend of mine who's recently taken up LP collecting and is having a hard time with some of the basics, such as this classic.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!

Their show last Friday at Bern's beautiful and packed to the rafters Reitschule was a massive spectacle, a feast for the ears & eyes, drone to the freaking bone though at times absolutely too much to bear. Can't wait to listen to this from the comfort of home cos at times the energy in the hall was just too intense and I could not really comprehend what I was hearing!
