Yo la Tengo: PAINFUL

Oh man, what a beautiful and majestic piece of music this is. I love their art so much. I did see the new one(Summer Season) which is supposed to be excellent but my cheap ass only had enough cash for this older album. If an auditory high was possible.....

Skyclad - The silent whales of lunar sea

Not their newest album, but for me the best one. The sounding is pretty bad, the songs not very complex, but they have energy and something that i cannot define... fuck, i will end this sentence before i write something really stupid
Not to mention the lyrics... one of my favourite refrains:
"If life is sweet, then i'm diabetic
The future looks rosy, i just went colorblind"

I picked up the remaster of KISS - Creatures of The Night a few days ago. I love that record.

Finally got the Overkill DVD.. it owns! The crowd isnt exactly energetic but the band itself plays flawlessly. Plus it gets bonus points for having "The Years of Decay" on it. The second disc is also pretty nice, very informative, but it only has snippets of songs... wouldve been nice to have the many videos they did thru the years.

Napalm Death - The DVD

Yay! This one's great. Lots of fairly old (1989-1990) footage. Great shows, great atmosphere... and the sound quality's pretty good too. Looks grainy... but that's because it's old footage. Half the crowd is onstage at any one time. One of the shows is of the very first with Barney and Jesse. Also has five promo videos on it.

If you knew this already, then... fuck you I just wanted to say it anyway!

Thanks for the Greg Ginn info, I've been wondering what he's been up to. Some of that Black Flag stuff is amazing, when I first heard them back in '85 I thought his playing was an abysmal sloppy mess, but after a while I realized it really isn't.

Oh yea, I bought the new Voivod again because my friend stole mine. Guess that's what happens when someone hears something so amazing and they have no $$$ .

Just picked up Repulsion - Horrified on cd.
Doesn't sound as cool as the vinyl, but a classic none the less. My turntable's out of comission at the moment anyway. Just makes me wish I had Terrorizer's World Downfall on cd.

More garage punk from the mid-sixties...
Impulse Manslaughter - Logical End & He who laughs last... laughs alone
I had it on tape, played it a million times. 4 euros, couldn't resist!
The Adverts & The Ruts - Live and Loud
Yes - the Ruts, live!! Priceless.

lol. nuc-infusion.

lastnight i was out at a cool store and i picked up.

Spirit Caravan - Elusive Truth.

i loaned it out and never got it back.

Ozzy Osbourne - The Ultimate Sin.

wow i rediscovered this album, its the one with secret loser on it. damn killer cd, makes me wanna defect to over the pond somewhere.

And of course...

The Hidden Hand - Dis-information

this is a 7in lp with 2 songs on it, the show was just stunning on saturday night. this second show was alot tighter, so i guess hes getting used to his new bassplayer, and the drummer has alot of energy man. at the beginning of the show, wino yelled..
"open your muther fucking eyes people"
i though it was kinda cool as hell hed say that.

BEST VENOM ALBUM EVER!!! The title track is a fucking masterpiece, one of my all time fave songs.

Today I bought Kreator - Outcast and I like it very much. Simpler song stuctures than on say Extreme Aggression, but heavy as fuck with a really cool atmosphere about it. I must get more Kreator!
