Doh! How'd it break? Those are the best Iron Maiden CD reissues in my opinion. Love the pairing of the albums with other relevant recordings the band made at the time, singles, b-sides, etc... I've managed to buy all of these editions except for Killers, which is still on my list... and ironically one of my very favorite Maiden albums. -------------------- I am a robot... bleep blop bloop

It broke because the plastic hub that holds the cd was too tight and instead of pushing down on the center of it to help take the cd off, I just pulled the cd and it cracked from the outside to the center hole on one half of it. I love those editions also, and even though I had the extra tracks that were on the 2nd disc on one of my other Number of the Beast reissues, I had to have the castle version again.I have all of them from the self titled to Fear of the Dark... is that the complete collection of the double discs Castle released? I'm a Dickinson fanatic, and love his work with Maiden and his solo work is fuckin' awesome(except Tattooed Millionaire). I love DiAnno's 2 albums with Maiden (I got hooked when the first album came out) but I definitely can't say the same about his solo career and various projects. I also think it's stupid when all these Maiden tribute compilation albums get DiAnno to sing a song from the first 2 albums. That's like having a Judas Priest tribute album and getting Ripper Owens to sing something from "Demolition" or "Jugulator". And the Blaze era... what the fuck was Harris thinking, bringing that tone deaf guy in? They would have done way better getting someone like John Arch, who certainly had the range to sing anything in Maiden's catalog, and can also pen killer lyrics. -------------------- yawn

I paid $17 with shipping from an eBay auction. I thought I would have to pay a lot more than that considering what I have seen it selling for, and what others were selling it for with Buy It Now... I was fuckin' thrilled!!! Steve Harris's choice for a singer on his solo album wasn't much better, either. How do you go from having someone as God-Like as Dickinson to choosing guys who shouldn't even be singing karaoke in a dive bar with 5 drunks as their audience? I guess if you are trying to separate yourself from your original band and you're going for something totally different you get a shit singer. -------------------- yawn

Funny that you say that guys, I went through the exercise of finding all those Castle prints some time ago (and succeeded), as well as collecting the full Tom Waits disco. You're following my footsteps Tom Waits is incredible, total worship. He can pack an emotional punch much better than the heavy bands, without ever being heavy. Regarding Castle Maidens, well, that's the only Maiden you would ever need. Blaze Maiden was a joke, post-reunion Maiden is just milking it. Come on, name ONE post-reunion song that could match in quality ANY of the songs from the Beast or Slave... -------------------- Casper, your friendly ghost
