Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Corrosion Of Conformity - Deliverance
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man - Out Of Season
Groundhogs - Split
Saigon Kick - The Lizard

Queens are such a bore its hardly worth even the time it takes to type the words. Yeah, there were moments on the last album but aside from that.....rock is just beyond dead now.

Because of the "code is red" link from neutrino I gave Napalm Death a new chance.
Had have Scum/FETO, Harmony Corruption and Inside The Torn Apart before. I didn't
liked Inside The Torn Apart, because of the
sound and some modern elements, so I sold
them last year.

After hearing "The-Silence-Is-Deafening" I
was blown away. So first I bought Enemy Of The Music Business.
Yeah! That's METAL!!!! And then:

Death By Manipulation
Utopia Banished
Fear, Emptiness, Despair
Diatribes
Words From The Exit Wound
Order Of The Leech
Leaders Not Followers: Part 1 / 2

Now I have to see them live...

Hocus Corpus by Old Grandad.

I may have mentioned these guys sometime before, but here's a reminder of what a great band this is. They are from SF and have just recently got back together, this is their new record. It rocks!

They like to sing about Satan, drugs and alcohol. And did I mention that they are all HUGE Voivod fans ?

Let me know if you'd like to hear them

Was that the remastered version of RIP, Mez? If so, how does it sound? I've heard mixed reports on the quality of those rereleases.

Hmmm....let me look sir, listening right now.....YES REMIXED and REMASTERED!!! Man, sounds terrific to these ears. Guess you'd have to compare it to the original which I probably hadn't heard in ten years. Also has the really nice stories behind the recording and each particular song plus unpublished photos from the era. You can say a lot about Mustaine but I love what he's done with these remasters. Its a quality product.

And correction: bought for 7 bucks not 8....hell yeah!!

I bought ALL the Megadeth remasters the day they hit the streets, and they were worth every penny. Sound is 100X better and there's some damn good bonus tracks to boot... there's also some lame bonus tracks (different mixes of songs) that were unneeded... but you can always skip them

BUY THEM

Well, it looks like the guy has finally put a good album out again. That's always good news, gonna check it out.

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Slay, what do you mean "finally put out a good album again"?? 'Midnite Vultures' was hit or miss but 'Sea Change' was magnificent. One of the saddest collection of songs I've heard.

And 'Guervo' is amazing!! Take all the good elements from previous albums throw them all together and you have this masterpiece. I was really skeptical but not anymore. HELL YES!!!

I got it too, well my girlfriend did, we hadn't gotten around to buying it yet but since we gave Pepper a ride to the hotel they were staying at he gave her a copy! REALLY heavy album! And COC is going to headline tour in June, watch out for them!
