Never seen them live and I just found out that Wino is from the east coast DC area. I didn't know thos bands were from this area, or am I wrong?

It seems Bruce has a slightly higher voice, but very similar styles.

The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan... even Pentagram, they were all from the DC/VA area. Yeah, Wino lives just outside of DC and they play there quite a bit. WELL worth your time if you need a good live outlet. Be sure to go up and talk to him because you won't find a much nicer guy. I'm sure h will back me up there.

LOL!

I got some goodies last month:

KING DIAMOND - Them (on CD, finally!)
KREATOR - Terrible Certainty (remastered Century Media version with the "Out Of The Dark" EP as a bonus, far superior than my previous crappy Noise copy)
IMMORTAL - At The Heart Of The Winter

...and something else I fail to remember right now...

KREATOR - Enemy Of God (official release);

Don't ask me why or how, but I was told it was around since before Xmas here. All's been said already about it, so... Nice booklet.

IN FLAMES - Soundtrack To Your Escape;

Some modern metal, just for a change.

And I'll second that statement. RED is still one of my favorite albums of all time, dark and brilliant at the same time, like the cover!

This album gives me chills up and down my spine.

I love Crimson, but whatever you do, don't let Lizard be your second Crimson purchase!

But the others are right, you can't go wrong with Red. And I think the Construcktion of Light was a hugely underrated album. I think it stands as one of their best.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys. I was at a loss as to which of the others to get first, now I have some ideas.

Staying in more familiar territory, I finally replaced my Khanate - Things Viral CD which had previously and unexplainably snapped in half.
