GREAT SAMPLES. If you can't hear the King Crimson influence you're probably deaf. I'm going to have to keep this in mind for a future purchase.

Yeah, especially that first track. Definitely a KC influence. Pretty decent record, if not a little weird at times, haha.

XD, since when being weird is considered a negative trait on a Voivod board?

Just donated to my first Kickstarter campaign:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/943079273/ideal-breads-beating-the-teens

Gave me a really good feeling I'm helping contribute something here. Amazing they've raised this amount of money already....I mean, NYC avant garde jazz....you're talking a seriously limited fanbase!

Target Earth (orange Iron Gang vinyl) and Mechanical Mind.

"Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." Ministry - Enjoy the Quiet Live at Wacken 2012 - cd
Puscifer - All Remixed Up - cd
Rush - Chronicle - vinyl 3 lps (which are going to get the glue treatment before I put them on the turntable... so it will probably be as couple day before I can enjoy these.. but worth the wait.)

I've decided that pretty much any vinyl I buy used will get the glue treatment before listening. Might as well clean them as good as I can before letting the needle hit the grooves.

I've totally forgotten those albums. Heard a few samples years ago, now i found a small preview from the video. so my search goes William Morrison -> Wikipedia -> Blacky -> eBay, where i found both from the same dealer, located less than 50 miles from my hometown. Blacky also sells them, but i have to keep the costs for postage as low as possible, hope there's enough money left for new NIИ. 'Cause
this is a 'must-buy' to me next weeks.

Those Holy Body Tattoo albums are pretty cool. The :Spybey:Theriault: album is also worth seeking out if you enjoy the experimental stuff.
:spybey:theriault: @ Discogs.com

Took in a bunch of old rock CDs this week... many of them on the super-cheap, haha.

- Alice Cooper: Killer
- Alice Cooper: Billion Dollar Babies
- Hawkwind: Space Bandits
- James Gang: 'Yer Album
- James Gang: Rides Again
- James Gang: Thirds
- Jethro Tull: This Was [remaster]
- The Michael Schenker Group: MSG [remastered/expanded awesome 2nd album]
- The 3rd & The Mortal: Painting On Glass

So the 3rd & The Mortal disc doesn't really fall in the old rock category, but good to replace the CDr copy I've had for so many years.

Agreed! Painting On Glass is actually my favorite 3rd & The Mortal album, but the CD somehow always eluded me. I finally broke down and eBay'd it, but even that was delayed for about a month, haha. Some albums I have to fight to own, it seems.
