Man, I wish I was Schroder's neighbor so I could drop by and bathe in the presence of his mighty collection. 41 KCCC releases? That is amazing, haha!

Brought in a few cool things last week, all CDs.
- Bauhaus: Bela Lugosi's Dead (CD release - already had the vinyl)
- Rush: A Farewell To Kings (remaster)
- Boris: At Last ~ Feedbacker
- Boris & Michio Kurihara: Rainbow
- Scorn: Gyral
- Uriah Heep: Wonderworld (2001 remaster)

Travelling to L.A. on business later this month and have planned my trip with enough time to give myself an afternoon in the Hollywood Amoeba Records store, which looks insane. Saving all my crinkly dollars for this one!

Hey X-D...when are you in LA. I'm going to be there for work 5/23-26. I'll be downtown at the convention center. Where is the Amoeba store?

X-D, if we were neighbors I have a feeling the other people living around would be too happy with all the noize blarring from our homes as we both cranked up the systems to let each other listen to our collections... but it would be fun.

I got hooked on the King Crimson Collectors Club discs when they started it years ago, even before I had a PC. I've purchased every one they've released no matter what.

Haha, too cool Luna! I am flying in on 5/24 and leaving on 5/26. My actual work/event is on 5/25 at the Downtown L.A. Marriot, but if all goes as planned I will be hanging out in the evenings on 5/24 and 5/25. Hoping to hit Amoeba in the afternoon of 5/24 after I get into town. Dig the store at this LINK.

Would be awesome to catch up!

Dave, I totally agree! Wouldn't you rather have neighbors like these fine people? I'd trade in my weiner neighbors for VVF'ers anyday, haha.

NEW PURCHASES:
The Giraffes, can't remeber the title but I love this.

Bloodbath, can't remember that title either.

DARKTHRONE-Circle the Wagons

Wow, what a package. I could barely pull out the 'book'insleeve out of the front of the cd case. Incredible artwork and one of the coolest layouts I've ever seen by a band. Also loved the production on this album.

LITTLE FEAT-S/T

I've been on a Lowell George binge for the last month. 'Willin' is one of the most incredible songs I've ever heard in my entire life.

Rush - "Snakes and Arrows"special edition ... it has a DVD which shows the recording process of the album ... just jaw dropping.

Zbigniew Preisner - "Requiem for my Friend" this polish film music composer pays homage to his friend, the late Krszystof Kieslowski. Beautiful Music. You can also listen to Preisner on David Gilmour's "On an Island"

HEX - it's the reason I always try to order directly from the band. www.Burningshed.com , www.swhq.co.uk and www.crazy-diamond.nl/ always has the limited edition items that most other places will never get and delivery is usually before the official release date. The special edition items usually sell out within hours of getting put online. I was lucky to score the grey book version, since the more limited red book edtion was already when I clicked on to buy one.

Same reason I go to DGM.com for all my King Crimson needs.
