Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver LiningsFuck me this band get better and better. Much thicker sound than Systematic and heavier than Train... It even has blastbeats! Loving the cover CD too. Not sure about the 3rd CD (no vocals mix), seems a bit redundant. Guess they spoiled their fans last time with that making-of DVD. -------------------- Der der der-der DER! Der der der-der DER! DER!

I've gone a bit crazy on purchases lately.Todays mailbox contained: Mastodon - Oblivion 2 track cd with T shirt Mastodon - Divinations - 2 track cd with t shirt BOTH ARE FUCKIN' AWESOME!!!! Samson - Biceps Of Steel dvd (the box says there are special features like a photo gallery, and a 5.1 mix; however, there is no menu to access anything, the disc just starts playing the cheesey videos of "Hard Times" & "Vice Versa". After I ordered this I realized it was also included on the Bruce Dickinson Anthology dvd that I had... lucky for me this was dirt cheap. It's cool seeing Bruce pre-Maiden. -------------------- yawn

but I think i probably get more enjoyment from music.i've owned lame cars most of my life (Escorts, Metros...) but as long as I could play metal when I was driving I did give a fuck what I had on the road as long as it got me where I was going and tape deck or cd player and speakers worked. The better the gas mileage, the more $$ I had for music. I have Tiburon GT V6 now so at least I'm not in a geek mobile anymore. Believe me, there's been lots of times when I look at my collection and think "MY GOD, YOU FREAK, DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU COULD HAVE PURCHASED IF YOU HADN'T BOUGHT ALL THESE ALBUMS AND CDS?" Then I think "Fuck It, I love my music and it's always there to cure me of whatever ails me" That is a sweet ride though... -------------------- yawn
