Went to The Gathering this weekend. They were superb (although the sound could have been better, I could hardly hear the guitar and the keyboards seemed completely lost somewhere). Got 'Souvenirs' on vinyl and had it signed by the whole band (I feel like a silly fanboy now).

Last Friday, I saw Destruction at Le Capitol de Québec and it was awesome. They played a lot of songs from Infernal Overkill (one of my prefered speed metal album)and from Inventor of Evil. If you have the chance to see them soon you won't regret.

But the next show that I expect to watch is Heaven and Hell (Sabbath) in March. I wish they will include a lot of Mob Rules songs in their setlist. I believe that Mob Rules is the best album with Dio as singer. Black Sabbath Rules !!! With Megadeth and Down as openers, it's gonna be a big show im sure...

Are you Serious Maldororz???
Really, Paul Dianno will be in Jonquière in March. Where??? Salle François Brassard, Pub Extreme??? If its true I buy it as soon as possible. I'm an addict of the two first Maiden albums and I always prefered Dianno to Dickinson. And the two first Maiden are as good today than as the 80's.

Le Palace, awesome! Et je savais pas que tu étais à Jonquière L'Heavy...

Iron Maiden and Killers are two of my favorite Maiden albums. They had a kind of punk attitude and urgency in their playing that they kinda lost when Bruce came in the band. Killers is one of the most underrated Maiden albums ever.

All I have to say about Dianno is a very high pitched:

We have this venue that has more and more metal bands. Shortly after each other:
SEPULTURA and THE HAUNTED

I plan on going to see one of them. I think i prefer SEPULTURA because i like Kisser and i know he is fond of Voivod. I think i should were a Voivod shirt and go and ask him when he is going to fill in for Piggy and do a full european tour !! (our turn !!)

Your comments about Dianno and Maiden are the real truth. In my case, I go around Jonquière, Sorel, Québec and Montreal and many other places since about 15 years but I will comeback definitively in Jonquière very soon.

I didn't make it to that Kylesa/Hidden Hand show, was too tired from work, had to get up early the next day too. Oh well, Wino tours all the time doesn't he? (yeah right)....So yep, I fucked up

To sorta make up for it I'm gonna catch Sara Silverman's comedy act tonight!
