Yeah, I've ssen Cryptopsy before and they totally destroyed. Don't miss them unless it's something you can't avoid like West Nile Virus, a car breakdown or an anniversary. Overkill is a band I've always wanted to see live.
Btw, I got 16th row on the fucking floor for JUDAS PRIEST!!

Aut'Chose (within the band: Away, Vincent Peake (Groovy Aardvark & Floating Widget), Joe Evil (Grimskunk & Colectivo), Martin Dupuis (Groovy Aardvark), and of course, Lucien Francoeur and Jacques Racine) on 28th of this month at the St-Hyacinthe CEGEP and, the BIG ONE, November 19th at le Café Campus.I'll go and see the Montreal Metal Massacre Fest on December 10th (the day before my birthday). Line-up? RAZOR, PILEDRIVER, ANVIL, EXCITER. Should be a good "back in time show, but you gotta come back". -------------------- VOIVOD STUFF / AUT'CHOSE http://www.lucienfrancoeur.com/voivod_stuff.html http://www.lucienfrancoeur.com/voivod_stuff/index.html http://www.myspace.com/autchose

Went to see Porcupine Tree last Monday in DC and then went to Philadelphia to see them Tuesday. IN-FUCK-ING-CRED-I-BLE Lots of heavy songs that they just tore up. The albums are amazing but the live shows are where this band leaves you speeachless. Lots of great videos being projected that they are synced to making for a very cool visual element. The sound mix has been outstanding. Robert Fripp is opening many of the shows on this tour, and although the soundscapes get a bit boring, it's a short opening set and the photos that are projected while he plays adds a nice touch and keeps you awake. GO SEE THEM YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. It might very well be my 100th show this year I don't really like that place, El Corazon, whatever the fuck it's called, but I might be up for Opeth, defineitely. Maybe I'll see you there. ? --------------------

I missed Opeth last Saturday. I don't like going to that place, it is cramped and hot, and you can't even see or hardly hear the band from the main bar. Did I mention I hate that place? A lot of bands that shouldn't play there end up getting booked because the bitch (YES, she IS a bitch, I know this!) who part owns Corazon happens to be a production/booking agent here in Seattle. She gets what she wants....I bet the place was over-max too, money grubbing bitch So yeah, I didn't go I'm going to Turbonegro this Friday for sure tho! Porcupine Tree is tonight but I am not going Also on the list: -Haunted / Meshugah this Sunday (I know, it's at the club I just talked about, HAHA, but my g/f is working there that night) -Exodus / Crisis / Watch Them Die HALLOWEEN!! (same place, oh well, fuck me huh ) I saw Danzig 2 weeks ago, possibly his last tour for a while. I mainly went to see him do his "Misfits" songs with Doyle. It was cool seeing that...
