I loved when he toured (although I didn't see them live) with Wetton, Chester Thompson, Ian McDonald & Julian Colbeck. The Tokyo Tapes is a fantastic live double cd.

It's the immensely talented Steve-o & his cagey brand of humour, brother John the gifted flautist and keyboardist Roger King, who I know nothing about.

The show has been getting rave reviews, yet variable turnout.

Just came back from a White Stripes gig.

What a collection of definitiv Rock riffs. Don't know much more men, who can do a show like Jack White. I mean, this guy makes nearly everything. And he makes everything really tight. About Meg, I don't know what to think. I often wish to hear the songs played with a more complicated drumming, but on the other hand her playing so simple that it's like an own style and it works.

The show was last night, so it's not exactly "coming up", nor was it in my home town...however, I did go see Porcupine Tree in Phoenix last night! It's a shame the band doesn't hang out in the venue before or after the show, I would love to meet them. They had some sound/technical probs early on, but took care of it and rocked out. Steven Wilson's voice kills me. Love that guy!

Saw Meshuggah and the Haunted last week and holy fuckin' hell! Meshuggah was bad ass! I've never heard them, and they completely blew me away. What a beautiful noise they create, so massive and devilish. Who can top what they do?

Go to that gig. Your friends are married 10 years the day after also. The day after there will be no gig. Could you visit them after the gig?

The number of people invited could also be of importance. If there would be lets say 25 people you wouldn't be that missed. if there were 3 people to come including yours it might be slightly difficult...

Haha, yeah Imran, that one is too easy. Buy them a nice gift. Rigor Mortis..now thats a blast from the past.

Friend called me up and asked if I wanted to go to see Nine Inch Nails with Queens of the Stone Age in Atlanta tomorrow night. He's driving plus he's not gonna charge for the ticket..only have to chip in for gas. First I was like..I got to work but then after thinking a bit...hmmm...let's see, I think I'll get food poisoned tomorrow..yeah, I hadn't used that one on the boss yet.

Exodus & Hypåcrisy från Sverige in two weeks...

...and two weeks from that, Destruction & Candlemass + 2 supports I haven't heard of before. Nice doom/thrash combo for my weary ears!

In the last weeks I saw Napalm Death (awesome!), Olga of the Toy Dolls doin' a jam session and Manu Chao with Radio Bemba (amazing 2-hour show).

Next Saturday I'll attend to a festival with a very interesting line-up: Sonic Youth, NIN, Flaming Lips, Fantômas and The Stooges.

Damn. I missed the latest evolution of Acid Mothers Temple and the other six Japanese bands that are touring with them - easier than it may sound, because all the bands consist of members of AMT Talk about versatility!

Sunday, December 4 • ALL AGES BAR W/ID
Thrasher
Fear Factory
Soilwork
Strapping Young Lad
Darkane

$18 ADV/$20 DOS
Doors open at 7:00 pm
Show starts at 7:30 pm
Tickets Available at TicketsWest Outlets & At The Door

**looks as though I'm heading to this show to see FF. I haven't missed 'em anytime since they've played here in Seattle!

Mainly I have to go to show support for my best friend's 11 year old little boy Kylen, who simply "LOVES" FF! Infact, he had made a book in his class at school about one such adventure together...I actually got it to FF's manager to have the band sign it...and they not only signed it for him, but it was also featured on the bonus DVD that was included with "Transgression"!!! So far we've gone to 3 straight tours together with just the three of us...to an outside stranger, I guess you could say it almost looks like a "gay- couple" taking their child to the show! ha!

You know what's funny...I really like the 'lighter' side of FF now. Guess I'm getting old. Let me know what you think of the Darkane performance...I love their new one.

Me too!!! Well....I've ALWAYS loved Burton's "melodic" style of singing! He can also hold those notes like the best of 'em!!

Don't get me wrong though...his "death-metal" style, like on SOANM, still fucking kills all!!
