Saw High on Fire for the first time ever last night, pretty heavy shit. Not a big fan or anything, but each album has gotten better and their latest one "Death is this Communion" is pretty fuckin good, it surpasses your typical doomish-stoner band. It was also cool to see Jeff again, their bass player who used to be in Zeke before joining HoF about a year and a half ago. Super cool friend. A funny side-note to the whole night (well, I only saw HoF and was at the venue for no longer than 2 hours): Jack Endino produced their new one, recorded here in Seattle, and was of course at the show. I got to meet him afterwards and he was wearin a Nebula shirt and I told him about Away touring with them for a couple weeks last year and he was totally unaware, and couldn't even picture Away playing drums for them HAHA. And this is a guy who produced an album or 2 for Nebula.....Anyways, yeah, it was a good time --------------------

Wow, that's a killer lineup. Immolation were awesome when I saw them open for Deicide. I've got lots coming to town...
Exodus, Arsis, Goatwhore and Warbringer on Feb 18 The Wiggles on Aprill 11 (lol - I'm taking my 2 year old. It should be fun!) Gigantour on May 10 Rush on May 24 (yay! 1st time they've been here in over 25 years) Yeah, I'm fucking broke now.

Yes! The Immolation show was incredible! Got to watch and hangout with my buds in "In Memorium", and also finally got to meet and hang with Averse Sefira as well.Possessed are now scheduled to play here next friday and saturday with Sadistic Intent not only backing Jeff but performing as well! Speaking of Possessed: Does anyone know their setlist? I hope they happen to include "No Will to Live" from Beyond the Gates!!! -------------------- http://www.reverbnation.com/paulenglish

Hey buddy, I got your message in the Hellhammer thread, some BBQ, crazy tunes and booze sounds like a killer idea, especially during all of this FUCKED UP snow and shit!? WTF haha....So yeah, I'm totally down for any of that kinda action Was seriously thinkin of hitting the Agalloch show to hang, see Chop Suey (never been before), and of course see Agalloch. But me and my girl ended up getting that flu shit that's been going around for the past 2 months, I still have it actually! Glad to hear you had a great time, you DO need to try and get to more shows --------------------
