I just came home from day 3 of Sauna Open Air in my hometown, saw Sentenced, Moonsorrow and Megadeth. All threw a more than decent set, none suffered from technical etc. problems and even the weather was great. It was a good day today.

I would love to see Moonsorrow live. One of my favorite bands as of late.

I just found out via Blabbermouth that Vader, Decapitated and Dew-Scented are playing her on Nov. 11.

Fucking awesome.

The Mars Volta are coming here in Sept. too. Dunno if I will go, coz they're the opening act for System Of A Down, who I'm not too keen on. If the 3rd band on the bill is any good that could convince me to go.

Sounds of Underground next tuesday in Atlanta.

Unless it rains, I'll be sweating buckets under a merciless sun on hot pavement(the show is in the parking lot of the amphitheatre). I'll have to balance beer/water intake carefully as dehydration will be a serious possibility. But it'll be worth it:

hey Mez, ND played in a small place (300), kind of amphitheatre: the mosh pit was contained on the ground floor, and it was total madness! the new tunes sound great, of course, and ... Barney rules (of course)!

(and also, Soft Machine was great! Mark Fletcher was replacing John Marshall on drums; and John Etheridge on guitar, this guy is amazing!!)

just got home from BELEW and was completely blown away. The man is a god. Had a chance to get some things signed, chatted a bit with him and showed him my cool DISCIPLINE tattoo.

Great evvening worth all the driving and lack of sleep I'll have today at work... I gotta get to bed instead of typing...
