Damn, I just read the review of the gig in the metaljudgment.com site."After a full set of classic material, Slayer played the entire Reign in Blood album, in order, from start to finish." Check it out: metal judgment I hope they get to Brasil soon! -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." they did that on this year's 1st night at the Astoria in London on 8 july... they did it again at a festival in Spain 3 days later... so I guess they must of played that trick on a couple occasions since then.did I mention that Dave Lombardo was still one of the best (if not the best) after all these years? -------------------- I hear the things you say but tell me... what do you mean?

quote: Originally posted by Gerfat: paul, I have the "Reign in Blood" demo, it's only eight tracks, and they DO play them A LOT SLOWER!!!! 01 - Criminally Insane 02 - Piece by Piece 03 - Reborn 04 - Aggressive Perfector 05 - Necrophobic 06 - Angel of Death 07 - Postmortem 08 - Raining Blood It's like a rehearsal, sounds pretty cool, and it's incredible how they changed the tracks in the studio... To make you an idea, it's like the songs in "Reign in Blood" but with "Hell Awaits"' atmosphere!!!! cool!!! SLAYER RULES!!!!!!!
Should we wait for a post at the "thrash rips" thread? Please? -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." But, sure, I promise I'll do!!!! Hope you all like the "Hell Awaits the Reign in Blood" rehearsal!!!!!

It will ALWAYS be offline for me, BTW... -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." The Reign In Blood set ruled all and once again proved to me that Lombardo is an essential, and unreplaceable part of that band!

FUCKING "A" BAD ASS!!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!! Wow, sounds like they had the guitars definitely "dialed" in for the demo, I swear it's the exact sound on the album as well! Obviously the "drum-mix" needed more tweeking in the end, and Tom's vocals and lyrical delivery weren't as refined as of yet. Nevertheless, it's fucking cool to hear shit, such as the "clicks" before each song starts...made my fucking day! -------------------- http://www.reverbnation.com/paulenglish
