Can't wait! Saw them on the Deathcrusher - was lucky enough to be on the guesty so went backstage and had a brief chat to Snake and Rocky - who was kind enough to give me a pick.
They were brilliant of course and the new tune was really cool.

Great news! Just saw it on Blabbermouth. Didn't buy The two split 7 inches yet, so that's my chance to get those new songs on physical media.

Two songs already released on 7" and some other ones? Other ones not on vinyl? New EP not on vinyl? Why? I'm not a total vinyl snob by the way, my cd player's just broken. First day buyer anyway.

For one reason and another, I still haven't picked this up yet. I certainly plan to, but what's the concensus? Am I missing out?

Yes H,you should get this at your earliest opportunity because personally I really fucking am enjoying the hell out of the "Post Society" ep..the title track gets things off to a raging start with Rocky's more pronounced "petrochemical bass-stro" start and it gets a lit more labyrinthine from there.."Forever Mtn" sounds like the Voivod documentary in Winter-Cinema scope.."Fall"... thrilling ride further into "freeze-frame" bipolar exploration"..."We Are Connected"-controlled chaos storm structure with a disembodied airy calm...and "Silver Machine"(Hawkwind)-like rowdy teens from Venus jamming in their rehearsal-cube before they catch a Sid n Marty Croft rerun on Saturday morning tv..I tried to be as honest as possible using my imagination to describe my enthusiasm from listening to it...I don't believe in bullshitting someone if they want an opinion..I hope this helps in some way for ya...

It arrived this morning. Will give it a blast as soon as I pick up a fine chianti to accompany such an occasion as deserved as the first spin of a new 'vod disc!

I still haven't bought the CD...but it will be all the better when things get slower at work and I'll finally have a proper amount of time to devote to listening

First listen - it's great, man. There's bits of KT mixed up with TOL and DH in the wrong (right?) order with a dash of classic King Crimson appearing out of the blue.
Need to spin it a few times before going deeper. Silver Machine hasn't grabbed me yet. Was that opening riff going to be a new VV song before someone pointed out the similarity?

I bought my copy at Sweden Rock (hi Vroom & Megz!) and gave it a listen shortly after. I think Harry's description is spot on, and I'm liking the EP very much! "Fall" is my favourite of the four.
