I never read any of the band members confirming it, but when I first played Target Earth, I assumed Defiance, which I consider a great tune, was like that At War With Satan teaser at the end of Black Metal. I thought it would be the first song on the next Voivod album, or at least the full song would appear on it.Now Blacky is gone, Rocky is a full member of the band, Post Society is just around the corner, and no one has ever talked again about Defiance. Does anyone know anything about it? -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." That's a bummer.
