Hiyall. I just went and got tickets for the old clown's gig in April. I've never seen him live despite several chances (shame on me), so I thought what the hell, at least I'll have one less name in my long list of "still haven't seen live" bands...now, the last time I heard anything from him was over a decade ago, so I have no idea what I'm going to hear at the show. Have any of you guys seen KD live in the last couple of years? Can he/they still kick ass?

I don't even know what the line-up is nowadays or when KD's last record came out. Someone mentioned a drum machine was used at some point...?!? Ouch. I'm just hoping I'll get to hear some of the old classics from the first few records!

I haven't seen him yet either but have heard he still brings it live, and has great musicians surrounding him.

The drum machine was back in '90 when he was in between drummers and I think had a roadrunner contract to finish

"the old clown's gig"
haha...saw him bout 6 months ago. Not that I'm a KD expert or anything, but it was worth the $$ paid. Too bad I deleted my write-up bout that show over at myspazz. Of course, I mostly focused on how he applies that face paint. IS it latex?

I saw him on last year's tour with Nile and Behemoth and it was well, well worth going to. Awesome in fact! The band includes Andy Laroque (of course) and Mike Wead but I'm not sure about the bass and drums.

Anyway, you can't go wrong. Before the show he said that he was losing his voice because of a cold but he'd do his best. He then proceeded to play a flawless set, hitting every note that he tried to hit and sounding great in all the vocals ranges that he uses. He did do more crowd sing-alongs than he might have but that just made it more fun. In other words - go to the damn show and have fun!

Where is he touring right now?

And could someone post an updated tour schedule?

Thanks
