Check out the two mp3s available here from XOM, a band with Adam Cantwell (ex-Fucking Champs)--I haven't heard any bass and overall song structures as creative and good as this since Voivod Nothingface--and check out the crazy ass keyboards! Seriously:

Adam is great.

His other previous band Spaceboy should be of interest to a lot of Voivod fans because they were a technical space-metal band.

Clifford and Bill from Spaceboy have a new outing called Gargantula that is also melodic, progressive, and seriously heavy. Highly recommneded to everyone here who digs Dimension Hatross or Morgoth "Odium".
