AWESOME!!! Obviously, I thought he was simply amazing in Missing Persons (keep thinking of "Mental Hopscotch" in my head!) Can't wait to see if he also makes it back here in the States! Possibly on the next album as well!!!

Bozzio is my favorite Drummer!
This is great news.

His style and technique have taught me so much.

Here is a Bozzio Discography page:

BOZZIO DISCOGRAPHY

He has played on so many things.
Noteable are Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, U.K., Steve Vai, Duran Duran, Dokken.

Cant wait to hear what he does with Fantomas.

I stood right next to Terry Bozzio at Filene's department store in Boston back in the early 80's around Christmastime. Dale Bozzio was screaming at him.

Wow... just "wow". I'd sure like to see this in action.

I bet Slaytanic has a Richard Marx CD or two in his collection.

Hey...I would play for R. Marx if given the chance.
Its all easy money, the way i see it.

Of course, i would send Slaytanic some free Tickets for the show.

holy shit... one of my best concert experiences ever! absolutely amazing, I'm still on a cloud...

Yes, Terry Bozzio can play Dave Lombardo's parts in Fantomas (and bring his personal touch) - I never had any doubts about that but hey I wanted to see it!

First thing, on stage stands the best drumkit I've ever seen... Walls of Toms, at least 3 bass drums (4?), a fanfuckintastic cymbal arsenal, lots of gongs and things and stuff; oh, and that beautiful row of China's on top: he's got like 6 large Chinas in front, above head level (and he's doing magic things with them). Huge, beautiful and fully functionnal drum kit. DW drums, Sabian cymbals.

Mr Bozzio looks much younger than his age (51-55?), he's reading from a sheet at times but most of the tunes flow very naturally (a few mistakes maybe, but his personal contribution is... priceless!).
Then comes that tune from the 1st album which is always a fantastic duel/interaction between Mr Patton and the drummer - now to a new dimension with Mr Bozzio ... ah there's no way I can describe the intensity of this performance, a "normal" Fantomas concert is already a quasi-religious experience to me, so...

I hope they're recording the shows on this tour!

We had Dälek as guest, good stuff but I'm never too enthusiastic about watching DJ's on stage...
On other dates they're playing with Jello Biafra & the Melvins!!!!! oh I'd love to see that as well!

When we finally left the place, Mr Bozzio and Mr Dunn were having refreshments at the Bataclan Café, Boulevard Voltaire, Paris XI. (argh, I almost returned there with my Trio-Convulsant CD, just to tell Mr Dunn how much his stuff means to me and so on, but finally no I didn't)

the dates (from http://ipecac.com/calendar.php)...
(especially Köln, Saarbrucken, Berlin, lucky you! oh and the date with Sonic Youth!!)

June 20, 2005 Köln(Cologne), Germany Live Music Hall w/ Jello Biafra with the Melvins, Dälek
June 21, 2005 Saarbrucken, Germany Garage w/ Jello Biafra with the Melvins, Guapo
June 22, 2005 Berlin, Germany Kesselhaus w/ Jello Biafra with the Melvins, Guapo
June 24, 2005 LeMans, France Fury Festival
June 25, 2005 Interlaken, Switzerland Greenfield Festival
June 26, 2005 Perigia, Italy Giardini del Frontone w/ free festival
June 27, 2005 Ferrara, Italy Plazza Castello w/ Sonic Youth
June 28, 2005 Bergamo, Italy Parcodi Sant’Anselmo w/ Corleone
July 2, 2005 Roskilde, Denmark Roskilde
July 5, 2005 Athens, Greece Volleyball Stadium w/ Merzbow
July 7, 2005 Helsinki, Finland Tavastia
July 8, 2005 Turku, Finland Ruisrock Festival
July 9, 2005 Kristiansand, Norway Quart Festival

Fuckin' a dude, great review. I am jealous as hell. (you should have approached Dunn, he would have been fully cool about it)

My buddy (big Zappa freak) was there with his nephews, the youngest (14) had a drum head signed by the Legend...

So this is a big 'heads up' to the rest of Europe, don't miss this tour!

Bah. Three times bah. That doesn't top even my unreleased tracks collection, let alone the live boots.

Amateurs... bah.

I saw FANTOMAS with Bozzio at a festival in France, and it was fantastic !!!!!!!!!

Maybe not as powerful as FANTOMAS with Lombardo but excellent in another kind.

Bozzio was doing the thrash and blast part without problems and he made some really interesting imrovisation with his monstruous drums set, playing strange stuffs on the already strange samples uses by Patton.

They totally crush me !!!aaarrggghhh !!!

If you have the cance to see them don't hesitate one second !!!
