Total hoax. MediaWire is not a reliable source at all.
Besides, an artist like Kaufman wouldn't stay away from the spotlight for two decades and if he was alive, there would be intense media coverage of the story.

I'm afraid it's total bollocks. I'm sure that if we did have yet another ressurected messiah here, he'd at least say summat funny.
