I can't say a lot for Dtown but one thing I will give them thumbs up on is the number of good metal bands coming through.

Check this out:

11/8 Dimmu B., Nevermore, Hypocrisy, and Children of Bodom

Out of this group, Hypocrisy is definitely my fave. COB studio albums got a little stagnant for my ears, but I bet they fucking rock out live. Can't wait for this one.

11/28 Morbid Angel

Now I don't know shit about this band but they way some of you folks are raving, I'll check them live for sure. Doesn't one of the members cut himself with razors or something??

Great! You should also be prepared for Dimmu Borgir, I've seen a couple of live video boots from them, and they surely deliver!

Oh, as for Morbid Angel, it was Trey, the lead guitarrist, who once bit his own arm. There's a version of their "Altars Of Madness" album that contains a picture of it. Can someone post the pic, BTW?

Oh, and we surely want detailed reviews!

(If possible with pics, audio clips and video... )

Morbid Angel are worth seeing, if only for Pete Sandoval's drumming alone. You won't regret it.

And blood samples, please. And if you could bring back a piece of Trey's arm, that would be nice.

It's funny because the old cassette of Altars of Madness had that photo of Trey with his arm bleeding, but I got the cd and i just realized that it's they're all different photos on it.

It's probably a reissue or something, a friend of mine has a CD with the pic of the bleeding Trey's arm. Dunno why, maybe Earache felt it was "politically incorrect"!

Yeah, but they've since rereleased them with a blacked-out cover, but the original artwork inside... damn you, politically correct Earache!
