according to Blabbermouth:
Art rock pioneers QUEENSRŸCHE will perform the classic album "Operation: Mindcrime" in its entirety on the upcoming fall 2004/winter 2005 tour, which is being presented by VH1 Classic. A "greatest hits" set will open each show, and at the end of the night there will be a preview of the upcoming Sanctuary Records release "Operation: Mindcrime II", the working title of the long-awaited, eagerly desired sequel to the groundbreaking concept album. Audiences will be blown away by the Surround Sound audio setup on the tour.

FUCKIN'-A!!!!!!!!!!!
Mindcrime part 2 = very cool!!!!!!!!!!

One of the greatest theme albums of all time. I love that story and easily rank it up there with THE WALL/FINAL CUT. Classic music. I hope they play the smaller venues like they did last year... which I'm sure they will have to do since their popularity isn't what it was when the original Mindcrime was released and they toured large arenas. Give me a small club any day, and I'll be there.

How time flies! The Operation Mindcrime tour happened to be my very first concert!

Mindcrime II....I don't know.....this could either be very great, or very bad! But I must admit, it already has me interested in this band again. Let's hope for the best!

After years of releasing sub-par records they finally bow down to fan pressure and start working on Mindcrime II. I loved the first Mindcrime but somehow received this news with a fair dose of scepticism. Did their since long dried-out source of inspiration start flowing again or is this an attempt to cash in on older successes?

Will the new songs be of the same calibre as 'Suite Sister Mary'?

Guess I'll have to wait and see. Hear.

Saw them at a festival this summer and they only played Mindcrime-songs. It was great to say the least.

About Mindcrime2, it's been a while since they actually made a decent album, so I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

Who needs DeGarmo, anyway?

Wasn't he the one mainly responsible for HEAR IN THE NOW FRONTIER, which was the bands worst cd musically and lyrically.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate weekday shows? Do you want to know why?

BECAUSE I BUY TICKETS AND THEN I FORGET ABOUT THEM!!!

I'm so irritated right now...I had tickets to this show last night and I FORGOT. This is the second time I've done that.

Bah.

The Moore Theatre, Seattle
Tuesday & Wednesday,
October 5 & 6, 2004
8:00pm
$35.50 & $45.50
Depending on Seats

I guess they had actors and all the "goodies" for these shows...I imagine both shows were filmed for a possible DVD release later on. At least one would think so???
