The collection includes two live shows: Zeche in Bochum, Germany on November 18, 1988 and Kix Festival in Veghel, The Netherlands on June 24, 1989. According to a press release from Metal War, "this killer release has been made possible with full permission and cooperation of Martin Van Drunen [ex-PESTILENCE frontman] himself! He has been working with us on this idea from its ghastly conception to the grotesque reality it has become." Metal War Productions mailorder customers will receive a bonus rehearsal disc with their order, limited to 1,000 copies.
