LES ÉKORCHÉS, the new Montréal, Québec, Canada-based project featuring vocalist Marc Vaillancourt from B.A.R.F., drummer Michel "Away" Langevin from VOIVOD, guitarist Pat Gordon from GHOULUNATICS and cellist Philippe Mius d'Entremont from MARUKA, will release its self-titled debut album on February 27 via Indica Records. The all-acoustic CD, which is described as a mix of "old-school hardcore and some metal riffs," was produced by Glen Robinson, who previously worked with VOIVOD on the "Nothingface" and "Katorz" albums.

Experimenting modern sounds and samples on knockout riffs and twisted arrangements, the implication of guitar player Frank Legendre (Groovy Aardvark) followed by drummer Peter Jackson ( B.a.r.f & Union Made) was needed to improve the project as a band. Paranoland is in pre production right now, the recording should be ready this spring. Don't expect any resemblance with the past, the music was made in a whole new way sound and style.
