So what is Kosmos? It's Away's new band, with Vince Peake (Groovy Aardvark, Floating Widget), Alex of Caféine, and Jet Phil of One-976. Away describes it as a krautrock project.
Now, in this article, he says that they just finished mixing the album.
Can't wait to hear this!
Away also mentions that he as a metal project with Marc Vaillancourt (ex-BARF) and a cello instead of the bass. Don't have anymore details though...

So, what’s the fresh news about Kosmos if there are any?
Also,what about the other band with Michel Langevin/Marc Vaillancourt/cello instead of bass? All I know is that it's called Dragster.
That sounds interesting to my ears… But with the few clues above and a name like that, I'm curious to know what it sounds like...contemporary/stoner/hardcore maybe?

When I meet Away for the release of Katorz, there was no show scheduled for Kosmos but every tracks are recorded and they don't exacly know when it will be release. For Dragster it's almost the same, I just don't know if they recorded anything. Personally, I think they want to focus on Voivod first, so I think that won't be until 2008.
