Tough one, since I spent the majority of last year filling some blanks on my collection. Some I remember, on top of my mind, are Mastodon, new Cynic, new Exodus, and I can't recall anything else as of right now, hehehehehehe. Not even the new Ratos de Porão, which Is unfortunately a by-the-numbers album, a major letdown after six years with no new release.-------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." In retrospect, especially as my list was rather short, the Earth and Swans cd's should be in there as well, and actually Mastodon's last one wasn't that bad either. So here's my updated top 5:666)Triptykon - Melana Chasmata 42)Swans - To Be Kind 8 Mastodon - Once More Round The Sun 3,14159)Primordial - Where Greater Men Have Fallen -273K)Earth - Primitive And Deadly Almost there: 0)Sunn 0))) & Ulver - Terrestrials -)Dans Dans - 3 -------------------- "Appearing like Ra"

Almost forgetting, Reverend Horton Heat's latest one, "REV", is very good.-------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it."
