I can only account for one of those. My other 4 copies (so far), came from Europe. This will be a misleading stat, which may come back to bite us US fans.
If the trend was to order ahead from the Euro store since we weren't even given as thorough a pre-order option for NA, then we've tilted the sales figures away from the US appearing to be a viable touring option.

Are album sales based on units shipped to merchants (be it a real store or online shop), number of times sold by said sellers regardless of how many shipped, or a combination with online sales from the distributors themselves?

I understand the importance of momentum and current exposure in sales, but I'm hoping this record sells incredibly for them. If nothing more, it's an absolute feast for the listener.
I forgot to mention digital sales, haha. Do they combine when different people buy each song and count that as an "album" sale? I want to know ALL of these numbers together!

it would be cool to see the numbers for sure! i've sold a solid amount at my shop which is amazing for how lame my town is. people here really are loyal to voivod which is great. i'll keep supplying them forever!
