It was rather surreal, no sooner had I recovered from the shock of writing Roadburn-related stuff for Voivod/Away two years in a row, I was drafting a festival press release for die kreuzen...If someone had told teenaged me this would be happening in a little over two decades she wouldn't have believed it.
It was a shame that the die k. show(s) didn't happen at this year's festival, as per Voivod's wish as curators, but oh well.
What I'm really hoping now is that just like Dan joined Voivod on stage this year, they'll join die kreuzen on stage next year
