Guess I stick with framing art... not that I could play my geetar well enough to be in a band... although there are lots of people that can't play & are in bands

I always knew it was grim, but damn I feel horrible now for NOT being able to buy merch at MDF. I mean, I really don't need ONE MORE t-shirt, but hey, I love supporting bands who've made the effort to put together cross country and/or world tours. Sad I couldn't buy the Warriors of Ice t-shirt or cd...sorry dudes.

On a local note, I've noticed that our local promoters have almost stopped bringing metal tours to Albuquerque and I'm almost positive it has to do with very low attendance and losing money on those gigs. I get it, but man, it's getting costly for me because I seem to have it bad and I will spend lots of $$$ to fly here and there to see bands I love. Of note, Fear Factory played on Wed. night and they usually fill the venue here and this time round it was noticably EMPTY. Fuck, that sucked. But then, we do get our fair share of Danzig, BLS, Devil Driver shows through here...not sure, but I bet they sell lots of tix.

Anyhoo, I'm BEYOND pissed that the Opeth/Katatonia and Enslaved/Ghost tours in the fall are NOT coming here. San Francisco, here I come!!!!
