This is mainly for h, Emlyn, HV and others around the UK...Mike and Mike (X-D and St.) already know who Tony is so they can vouch for me, but my brothers in "Stone Axe" www.stoneaxeband.com are playing some dates over yonder including the Roadburn Festival, so please take a gander if you can...you won't be disappointed especially if you like 70's style hard rock!

Upcoming UK/Europe tour. It's our first time touring overseas and we are looking forward to a great time.
8th April -The Wheatsheaf, Oxford, UK (with Stubb, Trippy Wicked, Desert Storm)
9th April- The Unicorn, Camden, London, UK (with Stubb, Trippy Wicked, Grifter)
10th April- The Earl, Sheffield, UK (with Stubb, Trippy Wicked, Groan)
11th April- The Captains Rest, Glasgow, Scotland (with Stubb, Trippy Wicked, Low Sonic Drift)
12th April- Asylum 2, Birmingham, UK (with Stubb, Trippy Wicked, Alunah)
14th April- The Vortex, Siegen, Germany (with Stubb)

15th April- MTC, Cologne, Germany (with Stubb+more)
16th April- Roadburn Festival, Tilburg, Holland

Cool - I'll be at Roadburn, so I'll check that out, as long as they don't clash with Voivod! The Unicorn is a cool venue too, so all going well I'll make the trip up to London for that. Cheers for the advance warning!

h or HV, I hope one of you or even both of you made it tonight @ the Unicorn to see them play...I told Tony to yell out in the crowd for you h!!! Needless to say, if you two came into contact either before, during, or after the show I know you guys would have an "incredible amount of music" in common...particularly with the 70's hardrock scene, and of course...voivod! HV, didn't mean to leave you out, You've always been an incredible girl/inspiration to me! ...and I'll never forget you for sending me that Celtic Frost shirt!

Unfortunately I didn't make it last night. Trying to save my $'s for Roadburn, where I'll definately check them out. I'll try and find them for a beer fueled music rant too!

Cool enough. Hopefully, like you said earlier, they don't "clash" with Voivod...I know Tony wants to see them as well!

Nah - they're on at the same time as Shrinebuilder, but that's 45 mins after the second Voivod show. I'll make sure I check it out.

Hey Harry, sorry I took so long to respond back...but did you get a chance to see them play? When they got back last week, Tony told me he wasn't so sure that he had actually talked to you as he "conversed" with so many others! He said that they had a blast playing the UK as well as @ Roadburn...and of course he loved Voivod! Take care!

That's the Roadburn experience summed up perfectly. Spoke to so many people in so many different states of inebriation that it's hard to tell. Caught a tiny bit of what I think was Stone Axe playing in the small room - always so hard to get in there! Had the opportunity to travel to Berlin with Voivod that night, so couldn't hang around for all of it. Gotta admit that I was pretty wasted by then and I'm straining my mind to remember exactly what happened! But that's Roadburn for yer!

By the way - I know the guys from Stubb (the support band) really well. They were hanging around at Roadburn and singing the praises of the Stone Axe guys.
