not bad Mez... atleast their band name does not evoke images of a chick band nor this guy

the song Black Future reminds me of later VOD material, (Invisible Planet being one)

Piggy should have patented his dischord cause surely everybody and their mother is capitalizing off the sound now a days, shit Metallica even did it, and after Jason left to boot ! so it was quite obvious they had their ear on the VOD (only after Jason left) very insidious shit man ! -Kirk "yeah we're going back to our roots" pfft ! I don't remember their roots sounding dischord like Death Magnetic so they're not foolin' me.

Still no one yet does it quite the same as VoiVod, luckily we have known and come to the source...

Hey, these guys are kinda of cool. Pretty sure their frontman (David DeSanto) is wearing a Voivod shirt in the photo there... He's also got Voivod and Destruction listed as his first influences, as well as English Dogs, and it shows.

Crazy kids! I'd pick this up if I happened upon it. Thanks Lee.

Found this article on them that echos this thread a bit, here.

agreed, Destruction meets Voivod meets Coroner. Really 80's thrash metal. I like it a lot. Good thing Mez...

Good call Mez...This band deserves some attention. The debut album may not be groundbreaking but it's far better than what many other "new old thrash" bands have put out recently. A couple of songs at least have what to me sounds like a strong Dimension H groove, and the singer sometimes sounds like Schmier on the classic Destruction albums (high pitch shrieks anyone?) I bet many people here wouldn't be disappointed if they bought "Black Future".

What the fucking fuck, a couple days ago, they played about 10 miles from me. I'm only just hearing about it now. Promoters don't deserve a dime if they don't PROMOTE shit!

Ok, sort of stumbled on this and noticed the band's name and album title had a familiar ring to it, ya think?

KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR

The funny thing is, I wanted to hate this, but like Vektor it's not half bad (derivative as it is). Kind of sounds like early Sodom.

Pretty cool stuff!
And yeah it can be heard the obvious influence of these great bands. There are a few bands from this kinda "new wave" of thrash (only for call it someway) that really kick ass I think this one really have a good future if the "lords of metal" (labels, promoters...) allow them to rise.
I really enjoyed hunger for violence
